Motel 6-Cranbrook, BC

I had everything I needed in my suite. The kitchen was very well equipped. Loved the layout with the bedroom at the back of the suite as it was quiet. Lots of space in the suite which was great as I had my dog with me. Loved that there was no extra charge for pets, and having hard floors is great for pet-friendly rooms. Surprisingly quiet considering it’s on the main road through town. Would definitely stay here again.

Definitely the cleanest hotel we've stayed at so far on this trip. The cleanest grounds and the cleanest rooms.

The main reason we stay at Motel 6 is because they're pet friendly without the fee. You could tell this one is a bit less pet-enthusiastic than the rest. There were no problems, yet if you're used to a nice pet relief area or getting a doggie bone and poop bag at check in, this isn't the place.

Pleasant over night stay, older Motel, with some nice room upgrades, the room was a little small, but had everything you needed. Nice up to date kitchen area, a fridge that was very quiet ! Also AC / Heater that work very well and Quiet too, now there's not too many places that can boast that, bed was very comfortable, all this made up for a good night's sleep without having to pull the plug on the fridge or freezing to death because the heater blower is so noisy you have to turn it off ! for the price It was very good value. I travel to Cranbrook once a month for hospital treatment, my regular hotel couldn't accommodate me for my latest trip, but I think Motel 6 may just be my new place to stay in the future.

The price was fair, the bed was comfortable and the room was spotless.

The man at the front desk did not greet us upon arrival. He literally said nothing. He could use a bit more personality. On the other hand the man who was there when we checked out, was very friendly. I did not get their names, if it will be addressed, the friendly man was of Asian descent. There was a blood stain on the sheets, although the sheets had been washed. The 2 cleaning staff who came in to change the sheets were very nice and quick and efficient.

Rooms were clean upon arrival. Check in was easy and quick. All staff were friendly. We had rooms next to each other on the ground floor and were able to visit each night and in the morning. The hotel was extremely busy but quiet. You could not hear who was in the next room at all. Will stay here again if I am ever in Cranbrook

The size of the room was great with a little kitchen that was updated and a nice bonus for a motel. For a motel, overall it was cleaner than I expected.

We always check for bed bugs and when looking under the mattress the bed frame had quite a bit of dust under the headboard. Should do a bit more attention to detail cleaning not just what is seen. Some of the staff was less friendly and seemed rushed when dealing with them.

kitchenette was great. afternoon and morning clerk were friendly and efficient. room was clean and updated

parking was horrible. the lines were crowded and at weird angles and not enough spaces for the number of rooms. there was an ice bucket in the room but after the 3rd housekeeping girl that didn’t speak english that I asked where the ice machine was, finally found someone that did speak english they told me there wasn’t a machine.

Bed was comfy. We had a great sleep. Room was very clean. Hotel staff friendly.

We had to unplug the fridge because it was making a loud weird noise. We didn't have to use the fridge. So, it wasn't a big deal for us. We notified the front desk in the morning and carried on with our travels.

The property was clean, and fairly well kept. I also liked that it was pet friendly, no carpet and the price was reasonable.

Housekeeping was not what I have had in the past. They did not make the beds - which is not a deal breaker for us. There was a bit of a musty smell to the room. However, nothing that would prevent is from staying again.

Not much to look at outside but inside everything was renovate and clean. Staff was friendly. TV decent size, bed great, pillows comfortable and lots, air conditioning and decent room to move around. Parking right outside your door.

It was quiet until human giant above us decided that he wants to share his sleeplessness so proceeded to noisily walk up and down, and going in & out his door late night/early morning but not hotel's fault.
