Arena Mar Hotel and SPA

Never went for breakfast, short walk down steps to beach or a long maybe 15 mins down the hill. Hair dryer in bathroom which was fast and great. Towels changed daily if needed. Car park very dear about 17 Lev a day which would mount up over the 2 weeks stay. you can take English money and change into Lev while u are there.

We were at the front of the hotel and there is a couple of bars over the road which play very load music till about 1 am we didn't mind because we were up late anyway but felt sorry for people with kids wanting to sleep.

I liked the hotel. The area nearby is under massive reconstruction, they are fixing roads etc. The hotel is bright, breakfast superb, i wish i took also the dinner when i booked. It is decently priced at 30 leva, the spa is great. Highly recommend the massage done by the Ukrainean lady, she has magic golden hands. We will return here for sure

I wish the beach was a bit closer. But it is a wonderful walk to get there. Nice and relaxed resort.

Everything was actually better than i expected, clean and spatious room, the walk in shower was amazing, we really enjoyed our terrace also. The breakfast was really good, a lot of choices, and the staff was more than kind with everything you needed. Really close to the center and the beach if you take the back stairs and if you're fan of stairs.

The fact that i had to pay for parking even though it was on hotel premises. it was about 10 leva for 24 hours i think. But for 3 days of staying i only paid 20 leva because 48 hours were enough for our stay.So keep this in mind maybe it will save you some money. The fact that we had to pay for wifi. we didnt use it because we had roaming but still. Can't really remember but it wasn't cheap. Considering it is a 4 star hotel i find it strange that wifi and parking isn't included.

As a 4* hotel, some things needs to be constantly checked, and others improved, like: - attention to details within the room (entry door looked broken, couch was messy, bathroom door a bit dirty etc.); - tv too small for the room and faulty remote; - an additional light for shaving and better view in the bathroom mirror would be helpful; - shower draining was not functioning well; - coffee machines were not based on natural coffee and fresh milk and the quality of coffee questionable as a result. Overall, things should be improved in order to keep the 4* certification, but I'm sure it can be done in the future.

The food was excellent, lots of choices. The room was very clean and we got fresh towels daily.

They have a problem with the water pressure, it's very low and it can be difficult if you are trying to wash your hair. Also, the alcohol is cheap and you can tell by the taste of it. It is also not very varied, and for well known drinks such as Apperol and Campari you have to pay separately.

Good food, if you don't have luxury expectations. Clean restaurant and terrace, we could have our meals on any of them. The staff there is nice too, especially Daniel from the bar. Nice and clean outside pool. Almost good wi-fi all over the hotel area. Not far from the beach, 100m of walking at most. Overall a good experience and would return here.

I didn't like that we had to park in some dude's parking lot, although there were parking spots available in front of the hotel and we would've paid for it anyway. I understand the parking spots the situation there so in the end I'm happy that we found one. Rooms and balcony were clean at the eye level, had spider webs on the top corners so they could do better there. The sheets kinda start to show their age. Some replacements of the broken things in the bathroom would be nice

Bed was comfy, the room was clean and big, I appreciated the drying rack for the clothes on the balcony. The pool was nice a good size. The reception people were really friendly,

Pillows were too thin. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were not cooked properly. Not enough umbrellas at the pool and when we asked for one, the pool guy was really unfriendly.

Very comfortable and friendly room, with a pleasant ambiance. The bathroom is clean and spacious. The food is diversified, tasty, and not repetitive. It's impossible not to find something to your liking. Many sweets and fruits included. The beach is 5 mins away from the hotel. The outside pool is big enough and it has many sunbeds and umbrellas, so everyone can enjoy their stay. The parking site was completely full. However, the hotel manager contacted us as soon as some guests left (few hours after our arrival) and kept the parking spots for us. The receptionists are very, but VERY kind as long as you treat them with respect. We arrived way earlier than the check-in hour, but the staff invited us to put the luggage in a locked room so we could go eat.

I expected our sheets to be changed at least once, since we had a 6 days stay. Sadly, this did not happen whereas they only gave us clean towels. Also, the elevators do not have sensors to keep the doors opened when someone tries to get in, which can be quite dangerous for unsupervised children or even distracted adults. Last but not least, the parking site shall be enlarged. It currently does not have enough parking spots to meet the entire hotel capacity and can become problematic for some guests. However the staff is trying to help and usually finds a spot for the car so you don't have to leave it in the street, as long as you are understanding and patient.

Location was pretty good, means just 5-6 minutes walk to the beach. The inside cleaning was very good most of the time.

Breakfast was the same in every morning. My room was located at the last floor and the AC (air con) didn't work properly. Was fixed two days later.
