A1 Motels and Apartments Port Fairy

I was pleasantly surprised to have found such a good value-for-money accommodation. It was clean, it was comfortable and it was not the typical depressing motel on the side of the road. The colours were light, the furniture was modern and scandi cozy. Facilities were as expected with wifi, tea coffee milk, and toiletries. The room smelled amazing and the bed was comfortable

If the curtains were total block this place would be a perfect 10. It is an easy fix for me, I usually bring my blindfolds but for this occasion, I forgot them.

The motel room was spacious and well designed. It had a full wall of windows that looked into the garde, making it one of the brightest rooms we have stayed in. There was a small well organized kitchenette. The bathroom was clean, shiny and new looking with great hot water.. internet was speedy and capable of streaming movies.

We were initially in room 2 and the wifi was very very weak. We needed strong Internet and were kindly moved to room 4 where the situation was excellent.

The room provided was not only nice but also incredibly comfortable. The warm decor created a cozy atmosphere, making us feel right at home. It had all the amenities we needed. Self check in and check out were super easy. We are pleased to say that our experience at A1 Motel was nothing short of wonderful. The exceptional service and attention to detail surpassed our expectations. We are already looking forward to returning in the future, as our stay was truly memorable. We highly recommend A1 Motel to others seeking an outstanding accommodation experience. It truly offers great value for money, providing a delightful stay at an affordable price.

The self check in/out process worked great! So easy to do. Only thing would be, we arrived at dark so was a bit harder to find our room but nothing to stress about and our own fault 🤣 Really nice room, nice little balcony area! We arrived late and left at checkout time in the morning, wish we could’ve been there longer!

Not really anything to complain about… although there was no hand wash in the bathroom, so we just used the body wash / soap. Plenty of little shampoos, conditioners, body wash & soaps tho!

The rooms are beautifully clean and wonderfully set up. The convenience of being close to the beach and just few mins away from shopping and excellent dining options is truly remarkable. The rooms come equipped with a microwave, kettle, fridges, as well as plates, cups, bowls, and more. Additionally, the thoughtful provision of amenities like tea towels and detergent for washing and reuse is highly appreciated. We're absolutely delighted with our decision to stay here. Thank you.

It was clean and comfortable with a king bed and single bed for our family of 3. The owner had provided good quality coffee and tea plus long life milk which made a pleasant change from having that unpalatable powdered creamer! Was impressed by the mirror which provided distinctly different lights and could be used as a night light.

Our room faced the main thoroughfare so it was noisy at times

The property was perfect for a one night stop whilst driving through Gt Ocean Road. The only downside was it was too far away from the town centre to walk and we were in a roadfront room - trucks rumbled through throughout the night. However, it was clean and comfortable.

The tap water isn’t nice to drink in Port Fairy so some complementary bottled water would have been nice for making coffee

The single beds weren’t all that comfortable and the cleaner hadn’t vacuumed under the couch when we moved it to get something that was dropped. Also no kitchen cloth was provided. Minor things but you asked for feedback.

Location a bit out of town, but fine if you have a car and parking easy and plentiful. Large room with a big comfy bed, clean and modern. Self check-in which made it easy and no time constraints to arrive. Enjoyed my stay.

If you intend to cook while there, be aware there is only a microwave.
