The Shamrock Hotel

Everything was great! We stayed in the Deluxe Queen Room I believe and the beds were super comfy, the pillows were nice and fluffy and the shower was the best we've ever been in. Plenty of space in the room for bags and clothes. The staff were super accomodating. We came back late after the food and wine festival and were able to get extra tea and coffee for that night. Parking was easy. All of us have stayed in Toowoomba at other places a number of times but we would definitely stay here again as first preference!

We couldn't manage to connect to the TV but this was a very minor issue since we watched Youtube movies instead. It easily could've been my phone.

We got one of the newly renovated rooms and it was very nice. Tasteful decor, comfy bed and big screen TV! All the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. The hotel wasn't too far for us to walk to Queens Park as we went to Toowoomba during the Carnival of Flowers.

Currently they appear to be doing renovations to the pub so the bistro, bar and racing screens are all in the same room. On the website it said they have live music too, so we thought we could have a meal and listen to music without having to go out if we didn't want to, but it was dead so we went out to eat. The outdoor areas & carpark of the motel were a bit grubby.

Good location, short walk to restaurants and the centre of town. Staff friendly and helpful. Basic facilities in the room, but clean and tidy. Perfect for a overnight stay without going over the top, at an affordable price.

The room was a little dated, and didn't match the online pictures, and I was expecting something different. But I could see that renovations are under way elsewhere on the premises, and this room probably not done yet. Other than that no issues, it's a room at a pub!

The location was nice and central to the rest of town. The room was nicely sized and private, the beds were decent and overall it was a good stay. Parking was also fantastic, with only being a couple of steps from the vehicle.

The only negative in particular was due to other guests being a little loud, which did keep us up later than intended. This however, was not due to the rooms, but rather due to them congregating outside.

Deluxe Queen Dbl was renovated and so beautiful. Comfy beds, USB wall ports, bathrm sensor light.

Signage to check-in afterhours was poor - had to go into pokies to ask and found I was in right place. Guests next-door outside smoking smell came into our room. Powerpoints with lights on them not great for dark-room sleepers, covered them up. Bathrm sensor light not handy when everyone else sleeping

Love the rooms. Shame cant use the spas. The resturant staff are amazing and reception staff too. Awesome location. Very clean and homely. Heads up there is no plates in the room but if you ask staff for one if you need it they are ok with that😁

Not being able to use spa, the sign said water restrictions, was the same last year but other hotels allowed this year.

the staff are lovely they were very helpful with any questions I asked also I am very appreciative towards the staff as my son was sick and they washed his clothes for me and also made sure my son could be comfortable until I arrived. We had a meal at the bistro which was very yummy and the staff there were wonderful polite and very nice We felt very welcome.

The beds were extremely comfortable. The venue was in a perfect location. Staff were very friendly and obliging.

The venue could do with a make over. A bit of a renovation would bring the rooms up. It would give them a fresh new look from the tired old look. Bathrooms could be updated.

Was easy to check in and the staff that I meet were all nice making for a great stay bed was comfortable shower was hot

The bathroom shower didn't have a curtain or door and water was would get on the mat alot more. And I couldn't turn off the air-conditioning and it would get cold at night

It was comfortable and clean and I didn't expect a spa.

The water was only luke warm in the shower. It was a very cold night in Toowoomba so I would have liked a hot shower. I would have had a spa bath if the water was hot
