Meriton Suites Surfers Paradise

The view of the sea is not bad, and the suite comes with its own kitchen and kitchenware, so you can cook and eat by yourself.

There were a total of four pillows on the bed, two of which were stinky, like they had been used for a long time without being washed, and were stained with a very bad odor of sweat. Also, there is no housekeeping during your stay, so remember to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste as well as enough shampoo, body gel, etc.

Great location right on the beach and close to cafes and restaurants. Rooms were clean and comfy.

Check in took a long time and no on-site parking available

Everything was excellent and our room was very good with a beautiful view

I spent half hour trying to look for a car park infront of hotel as the under ground parking was full. I think they need to invest in free car parking for their own hotel.

The location was excellent right across from the beach and walking distance to most places. The bed was so comfy. Room was soundproof, pools and view amazing! The washing machine and dryer was also handy as we stayed there for a week.

Not being able to check in til 3pm felt like a long wait for us, but the hotel was able to hold our bags while room getting ready. Room didn't get daily cleaned/topped up unless you ask/request - which is fine but just good for others to be aware off. We noticed the hotel was a hotspot with younger crowd for parties during weekend and quieter with families during the week.

Room and furniture were really nice. Amazing location. Facilities were really nice. Overall very happy for the price we paid.

The staff were quite rude, seemed like check in was a chore for them. The layout of our room was impractical due to having the bathroom in the opposite side of the apartment to the bedroom. No free parking is also inconvenient and not something you want to worry about when going away.

Security, views, decor, & design.

The view was blocked due to construction. The weight room could be better. If the gym is open 24hrs why can’t the indoor pool/jacuzzi be 24hrs? The outdoor pool was unavailable. :/ I cooked a bit and filled the trash bin quickly. I didn’t know a place to dispose of the trash to free up space. The tv cast option is a bit annoying. I couldn’t run most apps. Wish there was room service for food, and drinks!

The friendly and extremely helpful staff, the amazing views and decor of the apartment. All my requests were carried out. Also, the block is well situated, right across the road from the beach, walking distance to shops, restaurants and supermarkets and the light rail (tram) station is right behind the building, giving easy access to connect to the train to Brisbane and the airport link. Will definitely stay again and recommend the Meriton Suites.

The check in time of 3pm and check out time of 10am gives only 17 hours in the room and I would have liked longer to enjoy my stay, although the staff did do their best to get me in the apartment earlier. During the busy check in and check out times, having only one guest toilet in the lobby, to serve arriving/departing guests and the Cafe downstairs, was not a good amenity, especially during the busy times. We had to queue. Also the toilet needed more regular cleaning with that demand as by 10am it smelt quite strongly, which I put down to someone having urinated down the wall in the restroom, leaving a puddle.

Very friendly and helpful staff, rooms were clean, very comfortable, and with a well equipped kitchen. views were amazing- 14th floor!

regular tv channels would have been nice, the casting feature is great, but sometimes you just want to turn the tv on!

The views were spectacular - over the water and over the city of Surfers! The location was central to shopping districts, markets, and plenty of restaurants and eateries. The Castaway Cafe downstairs have the BEST coffee, and the cheese and ham croissants were the most delicious we've had. Parking on-site was a breeze & very safe and secure. The room itself was exceptionally clean, and the amenities, including the washer and dryer and kitchenette, were very handy. The bed was comfortable, and we loved the block out curtains - although the temptation to sleep with them open to see out over the city lights was too good to refuse. Staff were helpful, friendly, and only added to the smooth check-in and out process. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from us. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Absolutely nothing.

i liked everything about the property, considering I’m a good client and always choose meriton so I was glad they looked at my request and helped get what I needed

only thing was that there was no housekeeping and it’s every 3 days. not that I’m complaining but that’s the only thing.
