Jadran Motel & El Jays Holiday Lodge

Even though I requested a quiet room, my room was right at the front of the complex on a main road. However it wasn't as noisy as I thought it would be and didn't bother me one bit and I slept well. I loved that my dog was welcomed, with the room set up really well to accommodate my pooch with a snack, bowls, bedding, and disinfectant to clean up any accidents. To be able to walk to the beautiful park and beach was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful and was fantastic to have the manager living onsite.

I was able to park my car right in front of my unit which I liked, however I wish it was undercover.

Vicki's contact and welcome was fantastic and extremely quick. She made us, our kids, and the dog feel very welcome. Water and food bowls provided with blankets, poop bags for our dog. Plenty of eateries nearby and promenade walks. A really good fenced dog agility Park just a 4 minute drive - super clean and well kept.

WiFi a little slow, but who goes on holiday for WiFi. More of an issue for the teenager. Pool too cold for us.. but it is winter 🤷🏻‍♀️ Pet fee of $20 per dog per day goes on top of the price. To me, 'pets allowed' would be included in price. I'd expect 'pets extra' at time of booking to be fairer.

The motel is located in a perfect location for a family. A suitable distance to the downtown / happening districts and some of the attractions around, notably Sea World, Wet 'n Wild, and Movie World. There are conveniences nearby as well including the Southport Australia Fair Mall (2 km away) and servos as well as a few restaurants within walking distance. If you want to cook, then you have a decent kitchen setup in the bigger rooms. A small, shared washing machine allows you to keep up to date on your laundry chores.

I would have loved more spacious parking. Some of the bathroom fittings are ancient. A drinking water filter or dispenser would have been a good addition too. Overall though the pluses are major and the minuses are minor.

sooo welcoming of our dog, a bed, a treat, blanket, bowls….very dog friendly! although rather tired it is very comfortable… shower was fab, bed great just needs to staining from mould cleaned up in shower… loved the staff who were very warm welcoming and happy to assist… excellent value for money…just a short drive to Main Beach, Tedder Ave and a walk to beautiful beach and fab restaurants… value for money the best!

the tiles and shower were stained from mould…which I drowned in bleach!! lol so it needs a re grout and a bit of tlc but although its a bit tired I would recommend it any day!

This is truely a pet friendly hotels. We have never had a better experience. If you have cats it is a great place to stay and good value. They even had pet supplies! The place smelt clean and was very well appointed with everything you needed to cook and clean. Beds where good. The main bed was firm and the single was very soft. Noise couldn't be heard from outside. The sound proofing was very good. We will be staying there again.

What a fantastic place for families that need a good clean apartment with lots of space. yes the block is a little older but it had everything we needed for a family with two kids under 3. Full kitchen and lovely large balcony with a nice pool and bbq area. Manager was lovely and even emailed us stuff for the kids to do. Plenty of shops around and close to the beach and great playgrounds. we would definitely stay here again and liked the fact it was a quiet area but still with lots to do.

Nice quiet location but still very local to fun for the family. Staff member was very friendly, and very helpful. Overall very much enjoyed our stay. Would be happy to stay again. Within walking distance to the water. Close amenities. Loved our view over looking the pool. Easy to find when coming from busy traffic. Children friendly. Pet friendly.

Maybe due for an upgrade, because stairs are the only entrance for upper levels but other than that its a perfect location. Perfect motel for familys to stay.

Location- it was central to everything we wanted to do during our stay, and close to plenty of playgrounds for the kids, and off leash areas for the dogs Pet Friendly- our dogs were made to feel most welcome The Room- was quite spacious,comfortable, clean and tidy The Pool- our kids spent more way more time in there than on their devices The Rates- very reasonable We had an excellent stay here, with our two dogs. We will definitely be back 😀

I was tired from the trip, hence, it showed on my face. But Vicki was just so friendly, lively and chatty, her energy was contagious. The room was very tidy and clean. Extra pillows and fleece blankets were available in the room and clean too. Bed linens were so white and clean. The room made us feel comfortable. Shampoos, soaps and conditioners were provided for the number of people I booked. With reasonable amount of supply of coffee, sugar, tea, coffee, milk and tissue rolls

It was our home away from home. So happy we were able to bring our dog and cat. They had their own beds, blankets, food bowls and even a scratch post for the cat. Vicki was lovely and welcoming, she even brought me some aloe vera from her garden for my sunburn. Nothing was too much trouble. We felt so relaxed and comfortable in our two bed apartment.

Nothing really. If you were to be picky, there was some scuffs and peeled paintwork. I noticed scribbles (children with pens) inside the main bedroom wardrobe and we had to fix up the shelves but none if it effected our stay. It's a motel not the Hilton. The only problem we had was my partner found the shower too low. He's 184cm and was able to look over the shower curtain and had to duck down under the shower head. But again he didn't mind, water was hot and it did the job.
