The Milton Brisbane

Loved everything. Keep coming back every year if possible as The Milton Brisbane is a fantastic place to stay. During the State Of Origin, it gets booked out, and the location is easy to get to. Shops and places are close by and within a 10 - 15 minute walk. If you want to head into the heart of the city, you can head by train or catch an E-scooter as close by. Pool, spa, sauna, and steam room are all for free. Reception people were nice as well and the room was also very clean and nice. Overall, a great experience will be back next year in 2024

I booked this property due to its proximity to the train. Unfortunately all trains had been cancelled for this weekend. It was only a short walk to find a bus.

The property advertised that, if car parking is required, it needs to be reserved. I reserved a car park as we would be traveling over 300 kms each way. An email was received stating that the property could not guarantee a car park but could redirect us to a car parking station close by. Question - If they can’t guarantee a car park, why bother stating in their advertising that a car park reservation is required. I almost cancelled our booking due to this reply.

Location - Close to city, public transport, cafes, supermarket, chemist and Suncorp stadium, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. Room- clean and well presented, view was amazing Fully self catering options with fridge cook top oven and microwave fridge and laundry We had the executive apartment for five adults -family, so happy to share with one on rollaway bed Onsite paid parking is available and convenient but you need to book it ahead and there are other options available nearby

Two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. Very comfortable, spacious modern apartment with great views over the city. Parking easy to access and easy to get to the lift access to our apartment. Staff were under the pump (big event on nearby) but were friendly and helpful. Location is a super easy walk to Suncorp Stadium and good eating out options. Apartment clean and fresh and towels and sheets exceptional.

Nothing notable that we didn’t like. We have two children and would have preferred a bed that could separate into two singles. Apartment was clean but a couple of little things like the tea towel and under the beds needed to be checked.

The property was in a great location to where we needed to be for 3 days. Coffee right at our doorstep every morning was superb. Great restaurants near by. The Milton markets on Sunday mornings were a hit.

Front of house staff could be a little more welcoming and friendly when entering and exiting the property. A simple hello can go a long way in someone’s day. Our son has a disability and tripped over in the foyer one evening and hit is head on the tiles and was crying in pain, quite loudly. Whilst it wasn’t the fault of the property , the front of house employee failed to even check if things were ok.

Great location! Wonderful views, 24th floor was awesome, relaxing, room layout good. Foxtel on demand was good. Enjoyed our weekend at the Milton.

This is the second stay where the air conditioning would not cool to the appropriate temperature despite the control panel seemingly functioning normally. It was muggy in the middle of the night and the afternoon despite the aircon set to minimum. The bed gave me and my son back aches. Too hard. (It was on the 24th floor.)

Good location, lots of windows and comfortable.

Paying an extra $59/ night for a fold away extra bed that was uncomfortable because you could feel all the springs digging into you was not good, definitely need a new bed, it was also very bulky , heavy and old fashioned and wouldn’t fit through the bedroom door so a child would feel safer in a room- child was a last minute addition due to circumstances.

Everything except the internetconnection. Very nice welcome and check-in. Very nice, roomy and clean flat. Close to public communications and some restaurants. Nice area.

Bad internet. Only 3 devices on the flat. We were 5 people in need of stable internet for overses schoolwork an holiday planning both on laptops and phones. Not a secure network. The rest had to log on to the guest network. Was dificult to change networks between the devices when we wanted to.

Mine and my girlfriends only few issue were the dryer turns off every 20ins for first safety so we couldn't wash out clothes that got dirty on the trip The staff when letting us know the spa was close the first night were nice but rude the second night we think cuz there were other young guests in there with us

Our 1 bedroom apartment was spotlessly clean and included Smeg appliances. The location next to Milton station was perfect. We walked along the Bicentennial Bikepath to QAGOMA and the museum which was around a 1/2 hour’s walk. Loads of places to eat, bottle shop next door and a mini mart across the road. Staff were really helpful and friendly especially when we had to extend our stay after our other plans went awry because of Covid.

Our fridge was really stinky. The previous guests had obviously stored dried fish in there. The reception person said housekeeping would look into it. By day 4 the smell was finally gone. We’d like to see an on demand movie channel as the Foxtel schedule didn’t fit in with our busy days.
