Waves Byron Bay

The location and cleanliness were excellent. but what impressed me most was the hospitality. All the staff were very friendly and most attentive . I was particularly happy with the attention that was given to my 90 year old mother who is challenged with mobility . Special mention to Bronwyn , who is highly efficient in her role as concierge Also she ensured that my mother was always comfortable. Thank you being so attentive and caring .

Aids in the shower /bath (such as handles or non slippery mats ) could be considered to help elderly or the disabled with stability as shower base can be slippery .

Great Location with friendly staff. The refreshed rooms are very nice, would definitely stay here again. The kids can borrow boogie boards, buckets and spades etc from reception. They lend beach towels free of charge, which was very lucky for us because we forgot ours! The location, staff and nicely furnished room were the highlights.

We paid a premium price(almost double their standard advertised price). No doubt due to school holidays and high demand for accommodation in Byron Bay. For the price we would normally stay in a five star hotel, or get a full week in a higher level five star accommodation in Hawaii. Hence I rated value for money lower. I appreciate though we are all paying high rates since Covid given the higher demand for accommodation / holidays in Australia.

Great location right across from the beach. Room was spacious and clean. Loved the free parking underneath. The muffins for breakfast were a nice touch to keep the kids going first thing. Was also great to have access to boogie boards to use for the beach

I felt the rooms could have had a few plates and knives and forks in them. Especially since there is no restaurant or dining area it made it difficult to get takeaway with no utensils or plates.

Close to beach and restaurants. Staff helpful. Buffet breakfast and coffee handy for early departures. Last time I visited I left some jewellery and the staff forwarded it on. Was very grateful.

Room fit out fine but as a last minute booking in Feb we got a garden room on the ground floor. Bit on the dark side. Have had rooms on higher floors before with terrace and partial sea view. Always worth trying to see if they have vacancies - staff great.

We loved how our room was on the ground floor as we had alot of bags to bring to our room.

We were not able to park our 4wd in our alotted space as it was too high & the carpark was too low to drive into.., so we had to keep moving our 4wd around town until after 6pm.., then we could park our 4wd closer to our stay. We had a camper trailer as well, so that had to be parked about 5kms away where there was no parking bays.., it was very frustrating!!

Convenient location, secure parking, smaller hotel, fireplace, complimentary coffee, muffins and fruit in the morning and wine early evening, friendly staff, clean comfortable room for family of 4, location to beach m, restaurants and shopping. Loved everything.

Staff room open when entering and exiting our room. Not a major concern though.

Beautiful room in a fantastic location! So close to everything. Super comfortable and fantastic to have the parking underneath. Lovely and peaceful. Loved the bathroom and was able to have a couple of baths!

It was out of your control, but the triathlon was on, making it difficult when we were leaving. Other than that, had a fantastic stay!

Loved the location close to the beach and close to centre of Byron Bay. We just parked and walked every where. Loved it. Could see the sunrise over the beach.

There wasn't really any thing that we didn't like. Although the access to the parking was a little difficult and you had to get out of the car to open the roller door.

While not luxurious, this is a very nice, well-kept property in a terrific location across from the beach and within a couple of blocks of the town. What really made it special for us were the employees. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay. I'd definitely stay choose this property again.

We really loved our stay. The complimentary breakfast was so lovely. I would love to mention how beautiful the lady on reception was. Nothing was a bother to her at all. She treated all of our family so wonderfully. Thank you. We were upgraded to one of the penthouses. Absolutely beautiful room, only thing I could suggest was maybe a microwave, that would have been so handy to have. Cannot fault anything at all. Thank you so much again. 🌻🌺
