Glen Villa Resort

Staff were friendly and accommodating, we had only booked for a 1 night stop over and fell in love with Byron Bay and wanted to stay on. Our room was booked out but they were able to quickly reshuffle and book us in for another night. We stayed in the little hut, it's cute, compact and clean and more than enough space for 2 ppl on a short stay. The whole complex was very clean including shared toilets /bathrooms. A very short walk to the main street and beach. Highly recommend this place

The door of the hut is a flywire door with a curtain. Probably refreshing in the peak of summer but I was a bit cold, having said that I'm always cold. Bring warmer pj's and it's fine

No door 🚪 to see here! Booked one of the cheaper huts, initially thought it was great value, compact comfortable and clean But then noticed - no door, just a thin curtain hanging in front of the screen door Would had been good in summer perhaps but it was 15degC. windy and raining Went to the office, super friendly staff went through their spiel about the advantages of no doors In short had to pay for an unplanned/not budgeted upgrade to keep cosy Cabin was fantastic except for the extra cost and unusual location of the foot of the bed within 1 meter of the stove

Great location, minutes from town. Woolworths, fish shops, all night cake shop, all the surf brands, cafes right on the door step ( practically). Now has a large freeway running adjacent to the property which wasn't the case when I use to stay here but, you don't hear it. The reception staff are always helpful and obliging. The cabins are equipped with tv, microwave, cook tops some pans etc. I was able to check in early which was SOOOO much appreciated as I wasn't well ( travel sickness) after a bus trip down from Byron Bay.

Floors could do with a bit more of a scrub.

The location was amazing, short walk to the beach and main part of Byron. Amenities close by the hut I stayed in, heater provided in my hut.

Also just a screen door, I didn’t mind this. I under in summer it would be good. Just didn’t feel very secure/safe as I was solo. Darkness of the site, as I was a solo traveller it was a bit sketchy. More hanging space, maybe a spot to dry towels. The hanging space provided wasn’t quite big enough to fry my towels properly. But I alternated towels and dried them in front of the heater

Holiday Inn has a superior geographical location, close to the block, supermarket, station, and also close to the seaside! The facilities are complete, the bed is comfortable, the shower is particularly comfortable, and you can cook! The resort hotel also has RV campsites, public places, cooking, bathing, laundry, drying, and dining areas. The environment is beautiful, the accommodation experience is good, the check-in is convenient, and the safety management is safe. I would recommend my friends to come and experience it!

Everything! from the moment we checked in, it was an incredibly pleasant experience. Every staff member we spoke to were polite and informative and more than happy to help with any queries. If you travel to Byron via bus/shuttle it’s very close to the Byron Bay interchange and only a short walk to the centre of Byron/Beach. It’s also far enough away from town to really feel like a peaceful retreat. We initially only booked for 7 nights but ended up staying for 12. We will definitely recommend Glen Villa to our family and friends and would love to someday return.

Wi-Fi isn’t the best, but it’s not a deal breaker. Plus if anything it makes you enjoy the place more by staying off your phones more.

Great location for travellers relying on buses as it was so conveniently close to the Byron Bay Bus Interchange. The cabin was well set up with a small tv, a fridge, a bedside light, power points, a fan, a comfy bed with sheets, towels and blankets supplied. Wifi was adequate. The rules and guidelines for the guests were reasonable and sensible and generally adhered to. Everyone I encountered (staff and guests) were friendly and helpful. Also loved that a real effort has been made to make the grounds look beautiful. Loved the abundant birdlife in the park like setting.

This accommodation is in a holiday park and the cabins are right next to the tent sites. A heated argument/domestic close by just after midnight was a little alarming. The shared bathrooms are shared with anyone in the park. The showers were great but many of the hand basins in the ablutions block had loose or leaky taps.

The studio bungalow was very cosy and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchenette. The staff were friendly and helpful. The property location is very convenient to the coach station and an easy walk to the main beach area but quiet and peaceful. The price of $175.00 AUS per night I paid was acceptable for the size and quality of the bungalow I stayed in during the summer season but I would not pay more than that per night.

The "swimming" pool is much too small for any real swimming, especially given the large number of bungalows and other accommodations on site. It is more like a plunge pool for just a few people and has quite a small deck area as well. The property raises their rates considerably at weekends (even ordinary weekends, not long weekends) which seems too much like price-gouging, especially for a single occupant.

Glen Villa is excellently located just 5 minutes from Bryon's main street and just a couple of hundred metres from the Byron Bus Interchange. This is an incredibly well maintained chalet and camping park with excellent communal areas for cooking, doing laundry and showering. Of course, the self-contained chalets have cooking and bathroom facilities including colour TV. However, as some of the chalets are small, cooking on the gas stoves in the open area is always an option. The grounds are incredibly well maintained and there is a small swimming pool, Highly recommended

The location to town is amazing. Lovely kept grounds. Handy that it is so close to a supermarket. Friendly staff. I was up very early and the washrooms had already been cleaned and were spotless. We would certainly stay again.

We stayed in one of the small cabins. A great little room. Probably my only thought is that the fan was a little aged and could have done with a longer cord. The rooms being so small really could do with a ceiling fan, dispensing of the stand up fan, giving more space in the room. A couple of hooks for hanging things would be a bonus
