Seashells Phu Quoc Hotel & Spa

Location was great, in the heart of the city, close to the night market, restaurants, shops, We ordered room service a few times, the food was great. Breakfast was also good, Pool was nice and big, not to many people were using it. Our junior suite was nice and spacious.

The hotel was very crowded, too noisy for our taste. Our room was near the pool bar, so unfortunately the music got louder and louder as the day progressed. Breakfast was good, but to many people, so nothing was refilled fast enough. Very busy hotel.

The beach wasn’t big enough for sunbathing and the pool cocktails and food weren’t very good

Seashells has a great location, on the beach and a couple of hundred metres to the night market. The airport transfer and checkin and out are well managed. The infinity edged pool is terrific, large and a good depth, with a nice swim up bar. Our Premium Ocean View room was outstanding— large, great view, comfortable beds, excellent shower and air conditioning, and good sized balcony. The buffet breakfast was nice- good choice and quick dish refills

Our room service dinner was very poor, and we were served a poorly cellared and out of life bottle of wine. To the hotels credit, it was replaced when we complained. With insufficient sun lounges around the pool, the pool attendants need to police people who “ reserve” chairs and then leave them unused for hours

Very good swimming pool area and the hotel provides airport transfer. Comfy rooms and beds and really close to the port and night market. Very clean an cosy rooms.

Some minor elements could be improved, for example, the quality of breakfast - the Sunday breakfast seemed less fresh than on the other days. And coffee - they provided only with added sugar. When I asked for extra non-sugar coffee (I wanted to pay additionally), the staff gave me the lecture on how the coffee with sugar is better than the normal one... bizarre. Anyway, great stay, but sometimes you shouldn't treat your guests as idiots.

Buffett breakfast was free with our room and it was absolutely excellent. Both Western and local foods are available. One of the best buffet breakfasts I have had in Vietnam. The restaurant staff is wonderful. Walk to the night market. The room view was spectacular (I paid extra for an ocean-view room) The pool was clean and well-maintained. The spa was clean and the massage therapist was professional and well-trained.

Lots of smoking - everywhere (but not in the rooms) Every outside meal someone was smoking and was not enjoyable. Also as we lounged around the pool - lots of smoking going on. I would prefer if they could have a smoking area and not allow it everywhere.

Spacious room. Very nice infinity pool. The beach is right at the doorstep. The night market is only 50m away. Our room (premium ocean view room) has a million dollars view to the beach!!! Love it!

Don't forget to bring a power plug adapter if you use flat type power plug (type A for US, MEX, CAN, JAPAN), it would be a very hard time to plug in. This hotel is the only one I have issue with power plug. I've been in 6 other hotels in Vietnam, never had any problem plugging my devices!

central location (restaurants and shops are nearby), easy check in/out, very spacious rooms, nice views, lovely interior design, big selection of breakfast options, pool bar, infinity pool, access to beach, stunning views, approachable staff, on-site spa, comfortable beds, fast wifi, amenities provided (slippers, bathrobes, toothbrushes etc), towels free of charge (by the pool), constant cleanups of common areas

beach was super dirty, lots of trash (plastic etc), occasionally staff was neglegent (single use cases), fairly expensive on site services (massages, drinks, food), western prices

good location, clean and new hotel. good staff. good breakfast. highly recommended.

they charged us extra money because my friend dirty the towel with her lipstick. A bit stain on the towel. I feel it is not necessary for these charge as we pay so much money for the room price and charge money for a small stain. Too strict compare with other hotel.

All of the above and also the locality and really the staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful whenever I had any queries .

I can’t think of anything now that you mention it . Other guests were pretty friendly too .

I don’t like how guests reserve pool chairs and then don’t use them for a couple of hours.. you shouldn’t be allowed to put your towel there if you don’t plan on staying at the pool
