Pandanus Resort

Out stay at Pandanus Mui Ne was amazing! We stayed in a sea view bungalow room, which was huge and very thoroughly cleaned by Nguyen Thi Thanhi Tinh each day of our stay. Breakfast has a vast array of choices, with super tasty meals and drinks. There were two pools with plenty of chairs at each one. The cooking class was fun! One on one with the chef and an english translator staff member made it a very memorable experience.

There was nothing overly wrong! If I were to be pedantic, our room wouldn't connect to one of the cable movie channels and that was a touch annoying, but we also didn't request for this to be fixed by staff. Essentially it was all good!

The sea is not clean, to much trash flowing around. The beach was clean.

We liked this place very much even though it felt a bit like a retirement home which I didn't realise would be the case when booking it - it was beautiful though.

It was quite windy by the beach so that it was almost too cold to go swimming either in the ocean or the pool. There is also a lot of rubbish floating in the ocean being washed up on the beach - the hotel staff are constantly picking it up to keep the beach clean but it's still quite depressing.

The resort had all the facilities we expected. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Di has been a great host in helping us providing us information on local attractions and answering most of our questions. Resort had two restaurants, staff in the main restaurant are very friendly but we can't say the same about the restaurant near the beach area (probably due to lack of staff). Kids loved the resort and many activities they could do!

It was a quiet time while we were there so can't speak to how the experience would be if many people are there. It was peaceful, clean, and relaxing. I'm not normally the type to sit around on my travels but this place was magnificent and I actually wanted to sit around the pool, the beach, even my room and wished I had more time to stay there.

We didn't realize that the resort has transfer arrangements available to Ho Chi Minh City and back so we arranged a private driver. Cost was close to what the resort would have charged but it would have been nice to know ahead of time that we could arrange this in advance with Pandanus directly.

Beautifully and imaginatively landscaped resort right on the sea. Several large, multi-storey houses with numerous residential units (up to 70) in the rear part of the complex and 24 single-storey double bungalows, each with one residential unit near the beach, a total of 294, i.e. space for at least about 600 guests. 2 spacious pools, enough pool chairs 2 restaurants, with identical menu Breakfast: the offer corresponds to European taste, the selection was rather below average in terms of cold cuts (3) and cheese (1), for example. Dinner: à la carte, selection was about Vietnamese average. At a dinner in the Sun Terrace Restaurant - also prepared there - place 31 of 31 places in Laos/Vietnam was easily achieved in terms of taste, the same dish in the other restaurant (Café Blue Lagoon) was significantly better - probably because of the different cuisine. Friendly and helpful staff.

On three out of four days, a group of about 300 monks were guests whose early morning activities of praying and eating right in front of our terrace with acoustic support from loudspeakers ended the night early in the morning (from about 6:10 am). The monks come every year at that time.

The resort is all extensive that you do not even need to leave the resort. The location itself is great if you want to have a quiter retreat, away from the bustling of Mui Ne. It takes about 15 - 20 minutes drive to central Mui Ne. Though, everything is here and you can spend days without going out. Every morning, I am awaken by the birds chirping and sounds of the crickets instead of the hustling and bustling of the city or traffic so this is good. I find that the staff were extremely helpful, breakfast was great and the guest relation officers who are always ever-willing to provide some insights. Their tours are somewhat comparable to outside prices (especially for a personalised one as compared to shared tours).

There is a lift directly opposite to my room, and I could hear people drunkenly walking to the lift or talking while waiting for it. The resort has predominently European tourists who at times could be rowdy and difficult as they kept cutting me when I wanted to check-in disallowing the receptionist to focus on me. Nevertheless, the treatment provided by the staff are the same. I only have one major issue where I had booked a massage and the masseuse waited in the room for me to undress instead of allowing me time to prepare myself which is the norm. There were also no drinks (as per normal customs) provided after the massage for a resort that is of such high luxury.

The waitresses during the breakfast buffet lack a smile on their faces. Out of the 10+ personals, only the only supervisor carries a smile on her, walking around greeting other customers. Not very welcoming vibes during the breakfast buffet. However, the food was great, lots of options to choose from.

The spot is just perfect, the beach is wonderful. Feel like you are alone in this big place which is really nice (probably thanks to the season also). The staff is very friendly and helpful, always with smile 🙏🏽 thank youu
