Hampton Inn Princeton

We stay here every year on our way back from Myrtle Beach. It is a clean hotel and a great location.

Location was great around a lot food placed in walking distance. The was was also good.

The bath tub nerd to be replaced .Hanging of clothes was different.

I loved that the hotel was around a lot of restaurants and gas’s stations. I loved that the front desk was amazing. I loved that the pool was open for my children.

I didn’t like that the rooms were small, I didn’t like that when you came into the hotel there was a room to the left that was used for storage and they had all sorts of junk in there including bottled water and what looked like old used furniture, it was really nasty and unorganized. Finally the beds and the pillows are horrible. Because of back issues the beds caused more damage so I slept in the chair as it was the only way I could be comfortable. I think they should look into firm beds.

The only problem was the pillows really needed to be replaced.

I loved the friendly staff and the overall comfort of the facilities. I loved it there. You even get a 10 percent discount at a couple of restaurants for showing your room key

Just the fact that you have to request housekeeping and that's not much but that's a Covid thing so I get it but I'm not holding it against the hotel. Just answering the question.

The heated pool, how clean the room was, also how big it was. The breakfast was great and tasted good. How friendly all the staff was. How they took care of everything and kept it all clean. One of the cleanest hotels I stayed in.

The only thing I didn’t like was how there was no bathroom close to the pool. If you had to use the bathroom you had to get out and go all the way by the elevators at the other end of the hotel. Other than that nothing.

— hallway carpets needed vacuuming and small spots of mold in shower — found dog food nuggets on floor in room — setup of handicapped access shower and short curtain almost caused flooding of the bathroom even with or maybe partly because of low water pressure

The location was close to restaurants so we did not have to get back in the car. The breakfast was really good and offered a good variety.

Rather than a top sheet and bedspread some properties are using duvets with washable covers. That would add to the cleanliness factor.

the lady on breakfast duty Sunday was not very friendly. not helpful. the waffles would stick to the waffle maker. she offered no solution and out spray oil away.

Clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Close to fuel and food.

Night front desk clerk charged the wrong amount to my card then refused to give a receipt. then they charged me three times for the room at two different amounts (both of which were incorrect) then refunded one amount but not the other extra charge. It’s a good thing I checked my credit card statement.
