The location was great for the event we attended.

When booked, I asked that there be no down bedding due to allergies, and want the first floor. The return message said we'll do our best! When we arrived they acted like deer in the head lights. They said oh, yes it shows in the notes but they don't use them??? They wait until you arrive to do anything (mind you the person in front of us, they told them they got the last first floor). I said I asked for first floor at booking, and she said ok we have one left. What?? We had to wait so the housekeeping staff could change the bedding. Housekeeping told us inour room that they are never told so can have it ready, they do it when you arrive! POOR PLANNING!! DO BETTER!

I stayed here with my family. We wanted a hotel near Seattle but not in Seattle. This was a great hotel! It was very consistant to all Double Tree standards. It was way more affordable than hotels in the city center of Seattle. All of the staff was friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the room was super clean.

Parking is limited. We arrived late so we had to park along the street, but I still felt safe parking there. It is set back from main streets and very quiet.

The location is great and the food fine.

The shower and lack of towel racks in the bathroom. The shower was poorly designed from a safety standpoint and you either froze or scalded to adjust the water temperature.

rooms smelled like smoke. bathrooms smelled like it wasn’t clean. some ottomans looked like they were totally scarred and worn out. not worth the premium rate for this town. I could have paid $100 less per night for another hotel with same cleanliness

The staff are excellent in providing good and thoughtful service. Always respectful, friendly and helpful with every detail. We appreciated Justin, Matt and Zac. They knew the Olympia area and readily provided answers to our questions. Very clean rooms, excellent breakfast and best deal in town. My husband liked the biscuits and gravy, my daughter the eggs and bacon and for me the oatmeal with fresh blueberries. Breakfast and housekeeping staff are very efficient and helpful. We had a great stay and we will be back!

It’s all about location, and that is twice as true in the summer. This hotel faces the waterfront area, and is in the middle of downtown Olympia charm. My room was very comfortable. The front desk staff were wonderful.

I have no complaints, really. I personally would have liked some type of snack options outside of breakfast and dinner hours. But there are eateries all around the hotel within a short walking distance, including a beautiful Farmer’s Market in the summer.

so easy to get in and out. the room and bed were very comfortable. they give away hot cookies! and the breakfast was convenient.

no water pressure in the shower of room 307 and the wifi didn’t work on my laptop. however, I suspect the problem was my laptop.

Breakfast was adequate. Great coffee, though! Scrambled eggs were okay but the fried potatoes were soggy, not crisp. I really wanted to like them. Making a waffle was the best, fresh, HOT, and tasty.

Shower could use a thorough cleaning. For the nightly price, I expected beyond clean.

The hotel is beautiful and so close to just about everything in this artsy capital city. Listen, the staff here would make any hotel 5 Star. The short time I've been here, they are all friends. Highly recommend!

I guess if I had to pick one thing it's that I prefer a bathtub over a shower but most people probably don't.
