Omni Charlottesville Hotel

The room was super comfortable in temperature and the bed was one of the best hotel beds I have ever slept in. Staff in the bar and at breakfast where very friendly.

The reception staff not as attentive to the detail as I passed on my OMNI Membership number which on two occasions they said they would apply to my account so I would collect the points and not be charged for WIFI use. They did try to charge me for WIFI used and they never applied my points. It's just a detail that after a discussion they didn't deal with properly. They were friendly enough

I stay here often when I visit Charlottesville. The location is excellent, parking plentiful ( and parking is challenge in the downtown area), the beds are very comfortable and the rooms are quiet. Staff are always friendly and helpful. I requested a room with a view of the mountains and was very happy that the staff complied with my request even though the hotel was fully booked.

Bathrooms are small but very clean. I think fast wifi should be free and would like it if there were smart televisions. While these are negatives they are minor. I always have a relaxing time when I stay here. I love that I am right in the downtown Mall with its shops, espresso bars, movie theater, and restaurants

The location was great - close to food and shops, and live music, not to mention UVA. Our room had been recently remodeled, and was clean and beautifully decorated. Every staff member we encountered was very nice.

The hotel was in the midst of renovations during our stay. The noise was a bit unfortunate, but couldn’t be helped. They did a great job of making sure we were comfortable despite the construction.

Love the location, restaurant, and pool area! The hotel is just within a few steps from a street full of restaurants and bars. Breakfast was lovely and the hot tub was huge/nicely set in pretty stones.

The water was shut off with little notice, which was very inconvenient, especially as it was my birthday that night. Very unfortunate end to an otherwise great week at the hotel.

Location is excellent and covered parking was included! The gym was very small but had a variety of items. The seating area around the pool isn’t the most comfortable but it still made for a nice amenity.

The room was noisy, but that was mostly due to its central location near an elevator. The air circulation in the gym was pretty poor. Overwhelming majority of staff and guests not wearing masks. I know cdc no longer requires it for vaccinated people, but there’s no way to tell whose vaccinated. I feel like dense lodging establishments should still require masks in common areas. Regardless, the location is so excellent I’m sure I’ll stay there again!

I don’t know why people love driving but I don’t. I love when I can take a vacation and not have to use a car the whole time. I have stayed here before for only one night in my way somewhere else but it was so nice to just hang out here. We could swim, shower and go out to eat with no fuss about getting in the car. There are lots of eateries nearby, parks, a children’s museum, bars, and just interesting things happening downtown. I’m living in a suburban area at the moment and hate having to load two kids to do anything, such a break to be able to walk to all that they and I want to do. Very close to Monticello too, if you haven’t been. Parking garage free for guests, and not loud from street noise.

Nothing I didn’t like.

people were great! we selected it due to its proximity to the outdoor mall, but since it was summer mist of it was closed. we probably would have stayed closer to campus had we known that, but the hotel was fantastic - outdoor and indoor pool and staff was suburb!!

air conditioning was not cool enough but we were in a heat wave

The location of the property was perfect, near downtown, and we were able to walk to most of the locations we needed to visit. The hotel had a wonderful lobby which was open and had lots of light. At a time when many of the amenities are closed, it was nice to sit and talk in this beautiful location with a huge water feature which made you feel like your were outside. Our room was very nice with a refrigerator to keep drinks etc. Also, the hot tub/pool was open when you reserved a time, which we did. Very nice pool room with a tiered look and large windows to look out over the city.

like the location and that it had Resturant for a hit breakfast.

hard to get temperature just right for sleeping as AC seemed finicky. Monday am service at the restaurant was below average. I think some people didn’t show up for work as an office accountant served my coffee. very slow service and I decided to not order a cook to order breakfast.

great location! super close to downtown mall, vineyards, and all Charlottesville has to offer. pet friendly and free parking great too.

only thing was when we arrived there was hair shavings all over the bathroom and toilet. there was also some hair on the comforter which leads me to wonder if these were cleaned.
