1) none of the 2 phones in the room (to call the reception) worked. (1 phone upstairs and 1 phone downstairs: no tone in both!). So no way to call the reception. 2) wifi: reception did not provide sufficient information upfront. We had to go back to the reception, be told that I need to enter my email (which I did, in vain), then be told to use the "standard internet" option. Not really complex but this is time consuming for a customer who's tired after a long trip: just give the info upfront instead for me to come back to the reception. 3) Minor issue: TV (cable etc) did not work (it said "no signal" for the cable): reception explained that it was due to the storm (Dec 2021).

Indoor pool and hot tub were great, the room was of nice size, comfortable bed, clean sheets and towels, cute art work on the walls.

We got a new set of towels when we checked in, but in a few days we tried to get news towels, the receptionist told us that we have to bring in our dirty towels from the room all the way across to the check in area. I told them that their policy states that if you are staying at the hotel under 7 days they will replace towels and do a light clean up at the room but none of it was provided. We brought our dirty towels to the front desk the next day and they said that they were out of towels at the moment. We finally got new 2 towels in the evening that day. Only one receptionist was very rude, all others were very nice and polite. also there were cigarette butts outside on our balcony they didn’t clean up, bath tub had a yellow stain but probably from being old not dirty.

Sonesta ES are "home away from home" places. If you are looking for a 4 or 5 star hotel this is not your place. If you are looking for a place with a kitchen, living room type area and a comfortable bed, this is your place. In fact, on a 2 week road trip we found this to be the most comfortable mattress we slept on. Coffee maker and coffee, dishes, cookware, kitchen table, etc. Free wi-fi was acceptable. For this type of hotel, the television was large and well-placed in front of the sofa.

The ice make sounded like a gunshot and twice startled my wife. We turned it off to go to bed, then turned iot back on in the AM so the next guests had ice.

The property was situated in a quiet part of the city. The room was neat and modern

While checking in, I was asked to present my credit card, I gave a different card from the one registered on Booking.com. On departure, I was shocked. to see that in addition to the full cost debited to my registered card, I was also charged another USD 390 on my other card presented at check in! All efforts to resolve have so far been negative and I cannot reach Booking.com customer service either!

I loved how the rooms had full kitchens in them with everything you would need. We were close to the pool so that was super convenient. Beds were comfortable and it was cozy!

I did not like the variety of breakfast. There was nothing really that we could eat other than the fruit. I feel like if there were more plant-based options that would perfect! I feel like some things in the room could be updated but overall it was a good stay.

Room was large, clean and comfortable. Plenty of storage space-drawers, closets. Although we only stayed 1 night it would have been fine for a longer stay. Although it appeared there was full occupancy it was quiet.

The only complaint was a lack of toiletries (only 1 small cake of soap in the sink area, none at all in the shower and no shampoo or conditioner although there was a small bottle of lotion-weird to provide lotion but no shampoo!)

The fact that breakfast is included is a plus, however, there needs to be a constant supply of food during the hours of breakfast so as not to run out.

I was charged extra for a fireplace suite thinking that it would be an electrical or gas fireplace- however it was neither and there was no wood to burn! I feel I should not have been charged extra since it did not have a working fireplace for us to use.

Location is perfect and units are quiet. Bed was comfortable and kitchen was clean. Fresh cookies at check in were a delicious surprise. Breakfast was far better than the usual hotel breakfast. Eggs and potatoes were actually seasoned.

Bathtub could have been cleaner and room was missing wine bottle opener. Front desk staff could have been more welcoming.

We were upgraded at check in! We had the TWO bedroom/bathroom suite with fireplace! Fit well with our family (4 in total). Boys had their own room AND bed, while the wife and I had the upstairs. Desk staff on ALL shifts were GREAT! Very helpful, and even though Covid restrictions were in place, EVERYTHING was explained and a written guide of services was provided. Rooms were well kept and clean upon arrival. NO noise issues, and other guests were friendly and kept quiet. No issues with parking. Good location adjacent to the Interstate, minutes from Downtown and the Lakeshore!

As in other reviews the landscaping could use some cleaning up. Plus, not many family friendly restaurants are in the neighborhood. We shopped at Shaw's grocery store about a mile away to stock up on groceries for the full kitchen. This hotel gets a bad wrap from time to time, in other reviews but for the price of a long stay, you really have NO complaints. They don't lie about the facilities on their website, but we were pleasanty surprised. It wasn't perfect, but it wasn't a trainwreck either. Remember what you're paying, and it's not the Ritz. We found it a really good value!!!

King size bed, pool, location to freeway, kitchen..

Kitchen overhead light didn't work, barely any silverware, one of the lady staff could give zero f's and was very rude. There was a thin gentlemen one night who was fantastic per my bf.
