DoubleTree by Hilton Midland Plaza

They had very friendly staff when you checked in or saw around the hotel! loved the double shower heads in the shower & the balcony view! (don’t know how we got it but it was nice) beds & pillows were comfortable!

We were told it was a Comp breakfast as well as different restaurants in the hotel. We got the complimentary breakfast one morning then was charged $17 for each person. 🥴 I paid it and went on with life but if they would have told me when I checked in I would have ordered form the restaurant instead.

loved the location and just the whole vibe of the hotel . staff was super friendly & made check in & check out process very easy .

disliked that the room we got didn't have a fridge. we have babies and needs to keep milk cold with ice in the sink 🥴

They were absolutely under the gun this week with the winter storm and power outages. Even though they were severely short staffed as a result, the staff that were able to make it in were extraordinarily helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel and I very much appreciate the commitment their people showed to their customers. When everything goes wrong (and this week EVERYTHING went wrong in Texas) you get a special insight into the quality of people, and this team did not disappoint. Really, hat’s off!

would not extend my check out time. I worked night and wanted to extend my check out time. I was told the Management would not allow it. Every time I come to Midland is book here and I guess it doesn’t matter for a return customer

we checked in quite late, when we got up to our room there was a terrible smell in the hall, that was able to get into the room. Fortunately we had a spray with us and masked the smell for the night. The smell was still in the hall when we left for a portion of the day. We were out for a while on returning to the room, the smell was still there...upon investigation some one had decided to deposit a few Diapers in the garbage in the hallway...we called the front desk and they addressed it quickly.

Upon arrival, staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel was very nice and clean. Room was very clean, but had some areas that needed maintenance attention. Overall, stay was very pleasant.

Right in downtown Midland, easy walking distance to restaurants. Initially, we were given a room that was directly above a very loud party. We asked to be moved a more quiet room. Best nights sleep since leaving home. Very comfortable bed and pillows.

Hotel was a little tired, showing some signs of wear and age.

Robert, our valet, was always ready to get our car !! Very pleasant. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was awesome.

all was great except the pillows were too soft and website states have shuttles to the airport when in fact it does not.

The hotel itself is a bit worn but the staff is very kind and helpful. I’ve stayed there for the past 10 years on my annual Midland business.
