Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Slippery Rock

My husband and I had a great stay. Staff were very friendly and the hotel and room were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great, fruit-infused water was available all day and night, and there were coffee/hot water/hot chocolate carafes available as well. Only fifteen minutes from the Grove City Outlets and an hour from Pittsburgh. I’m a cute college town with lots of restaurant options.

The pool was quite cold so I couldn’t enjoy it and the hot tub was more warm than hot. The plants in the pool area were dying and super dry. I watered them myself during my last night at the hotel because I felt bad for them. Please give them some love!

Quite adequate. Eggs from a dried mix perhaps?-dry, grainy and tasteless. On a seven day stay, only tried them once and not again. Waffles of no interest to me. No one ate them while we were at breakfast six days.Yogurt, oatmeal and cereal eaten most breakfasts. "Fresh" fruit served from bowl tasted strange. Fresh melon and pineapple may have been in a preservative solution so they had a spongy texture and an artificial taste Coffee great and appreciated.

Room and bed were both great.

Extremely professionally operated. The facility is very clean, updated and beautifully appointed. Loved the breakfast, especially the hot oatmeal and the egg frittata. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large and clean.

Close to SRU campus, lots of parking, friendly staff, clean room.

The breakfast wasn’t as good as I remembered from the previous time we visited here. The eggs were rubbery and didn’t seem like real eggs.

Breakfast was very good, varying somewhat from day to day. The staff at the desk were great, from recommending good restaurants to providing cookies in the evening. Rooms were comfortable and clean.

We liked the very attenative and friendly staff that took care of us while we were there. We did like the quietness of not a busy time. Loved that this hotel was tucked away but still close to everything. The bagged breakfast was a neat way to keep their guests happy with a meal. You got to choose what you wanted from a slip. It included a breakfast sandwich, a muffin, banana, yogurt, and any beverage you wanted. I saw others rate this low but thought it was plenty of food and it wasn't terrible. An easy check-in and an easy check-out. The staff took care of an issue we had, and appreciated the care they gave us. Overall was happy with this little trip.

It wasn't busy at all and we were right beside a family with a baby and kids. So a lot of rumbling around and crying. Which is fine since this didn't go on throughout the night but woke us up early. Obviously due to covid, couldn't enjoy the pool or hot tub or gym which isn't the hotels fault. We stayed two nights and didn't have anyone come and clean in between the stay to replace towels and take the trash.

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean. Thankful the hotel had bottled water and snacks available to purchase (although, choices were a little pricey).

Breakfast was okay, not great. Did not like the pillows at all - they flattened out like pancakes. The shower faucet was okay.

We used to stay regularly when our daughter was in college. We always enjoyed the breakfast then. This time (probably because of covid) the breakfast had nothing to offer us that we wanted so we declined it and went to a restaurant. That would not deter us from staying again. Just that the breakfast used to be much better.

Bring back the old breakfast. Not complaining, just saying. Thanks

The property and the rooms were all very good. I was immediately upgraded. But the best part of this hotel is the staff. All of them without exception were kind, thoughtful and worked hard to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The manager of the hotel could not have done more to help make my stay more enjoyable.

The room was wrongfully advertised. I thought I was getting a room with a living room and a small kitchenette.
