Cork Factory Hotel

The toilet in room #231 building #9 needs to be taller. It was very low for my husband 6ft tall. Loved the big shower but it's a little slippery when wet. We put a towel on the shower floor so not to fall. The bed and pillows were good and there were extra pillows and blankets in the room. A microwave would have been nice but the frig was nice and kept things cold and could put our ice packs in freezer. One we got to know the hotel area it was easier to find our building. Our building was only 2 stories and we kept hearing noise above us but no rooms above!! Nice shampoo, lotion and hand soap with nice scent. There were cobwebs on the wall and near the windows so need more cleaning in that department overall the room was clean the bathroom was big and looked updated. The people at the desk were nice, welcoming and very polite. We had a ice and soda machine on our floor which was convenient. We ate breakfast at Rachel's crepes and nice people working there and everything is a crepe there. Another morning we ate at Gracie's on Main Street. Very good food you can get breakfast or lunch and the people were very nice there and you get alot of food for the price!! Its in Eden! We love coming to Lancaster the Amish county and usally stay in the heart of the hotels food and outlet malls near Dutch Wonderland on Lincoln Highway E. Lancaster that's where all the food resturants are close by if you stay in that area.

Toilet very short to the floor for a 6ft tall man. Shower is slippery need something so you don't fall. Need more lights or brighter ones.

We love the architecture. The hotel had character. Great staff and nearby restaurant.

We did not get a discount from their regular price, in spite of our using Booking.com. We would have gotten a better room if we had booked directly with them. It was my impression they save the best rooms for direct bookers. Our room had a locked closet that made it impossible for a night stand to fit beside one side of the bed. And it was dark since there was no bedside lamp on one side. Noise carried easily through this locked closet from somewhere?

,It was out of the way but close enough so travel wasn't to long. I like that it was quiet, it gave me time to relax and really enjoy the surroundings. The restaurant food & staff was excellent. We were disappointed that we only had Saturday evening to enjoy it but we understood. All of your front desk staff was welcoming, friendly & helpful. I love the room, the high ceiling, it was spacious, nice size bathroom. I only wish there was a separation from the bed room to the rest of the room. I wake up early & my wife likes to sleep, so when I woke up early I actually had to leave the room and go to the lobby so I wouldn't disturb her.

I wish the TV was larger.

beautiful historic building, brick interior and large beams. Beautifully decorated. Comfortable, large lobby for visiting. Rooms were large, great shower and very comfortable beds.

It would have been nice to have a continental breakfast. Just free coffee and tea in the AM.Also, not clear where to park. There were private lots for the other. buildings and we were forced to park there.

We stayed here the first time three years ago and were happy to stay here again. This historic hotel has character! Where possible parts of the old cork factory were preserved and add to the unique atmosphere. The rooms are a generous size, the bathroom with walk in shower also very nice and big. We also love the adjacent restaurant, Cork and Cap. Unfortunately the pandemic took its toll and the restaurant is not open daily, but we were lucky it was open.

When we stayed here pre-pandemic, an excellent breakfast was offered in the Cork and Cap restaurant. Unfortunately this is not offered anymore.

We feel that you should offer some type of breakfast for the guests. We come out to Lancaster often and have stayed in various locations and each one offers something. The price to stay in the Cork Factory is a little high especially with no type of breakfast as the other locations due. We did try to get into the restaurant/bar before our show but there was not seating, which is a good thing as it was very busy. When were returned it was closed. We did like the location and the property was very clean and comfortable.

We really liked the architecture of the hotel and the history. We were upgraded to a a beautiful suite on the top floor. Amazing! Loved the brick walls and the high ceilings, big windows and the exposed ductwork. The staff at check in were very helpful. They gave us great tips were to eat and places to see. Very happy we stayed at this unique hotel.

It was a bit confusing as were to park and where the front entrance was. There were several areas that could be rented by large parties for weddings and other events with many parking options. The hotel lobby was not well marked and didn’t know where the entrance was.

A historic landmark that was refurbished to modern day conveniences. Oak beams in the halls were beautiful and the wood staircase to exit separately from the main entrance was a wonderful surprise. The room itself was tastefully done, comfortable and quiet. Staff was very helpful, friendly and smiling - even the housekeeping ladies were happy. If you want a hotel that is not your typical hotel, this is a gem close to downtown Lancaster and highways to take you anywhere in the county. I look forward to another stay in the future.

Nothing... it was perfect!

Great ambience and the room was a good size to accommodate a king bed. The workout room was much better equipped than anticipated for a hotel. Michael at the front desk came through with a charger request for my phone. Thank you Michael!

The room above 314 has a very creaky floor. The occupants were walking around at 3am and, through no fault of their own, the noise from the floor woke us up in the middle of our sleep.

beautifully restored building with interesting old beams and wood. nice bar and the bartender, Dillion, was quite charming.

none of the staff wore face masks from the housekeepers to reception or the waitstaff. Being in the middle of a pandemic, that is the bear minimum that could be done. it shows no respect for the welfare of the guests. we wore masks to protect your staff, but that respect was not returned. too bad because otherwise I would rate the hotel as outstanding 🙁
