Rest Stop 6 Inn

This was a great little spot in a great location as well! The owner was extremely knowledgable and friendly!! He gave us many wonderful suggestions about the area and activities in the area as well. The property and rooms were humble but very clean and stocked very nicely with coffee, mugs and essentials. The mini fridge in the room was also very useful!

The room we stayed in was quite small for three of us and two dogs. There was really nothing we didn't like! The property is a bit older so if you're picky about "new, sparkly, shiny" this is not your spot.

We will definitely go back! JR was friendly and helpful, even before we arrived. The room was well equipped with everything we needed, and JR even gave us blankets for our dogs. The location was perfect, and we were able to visit parks and forests, go hiking, and take scenic drives. The place is modest, but absolutely spotless clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We loved sitting outside on the patio in the morning and evening,. Great value, and it was like a vacation from our youth.

The room was very cozy, comfortable and clean. It is exactly what you would expect from a good accomodation in a national park. The price was fair. The host has been extremely helpful and kind, even though we arrived quite late at night and provided us with very good information on the area.

Nothing. I only suggest to follow the procedure the host suggests for the check in. If you plan on arriving late, make sure your phone number is correct and your phone has good reception, as the place is located in a forest and you might need to contact the host for the check-in.

The room was spotlessly clean. JR, the host, was very informative and friendly. We appreciated the location inside the Allegheny National Forest and went on several walks for the short time we were there. We also appreciated that it was just minutes away from Sheffield where the Johnny Appleseed Festival took place.

The beds had a thick foam topping on them which made them very soft. As I have back issues I need something much firmer.

JR is a fantastic host and goes out if his way to accommodate his guests. Room is on the small size but cozy and has everything you need for your stay. Location is strategically located between many tourist destinations.

Motel is right on the side of Route 6, a very busy commercial thoroughfare with heavy traffic going on all night. If you are a light sleeper bring some earplugs.

The proprietor was very friendly and helpful, and really cared about my comfort and safety. He had lots of great suggestions about local restaurants and attractions. The place has the feel of being very thoughtfully cared for - lots of attention to small details to make a guest feel at home.

The signage and initial first impressions are not good - this place is much better than it seems from the road.

the rooms are very small, we were doing outdoor activities so it didn’t matter much to us, but if you plan to spend a lot of time in your room as a group I would suggest a larger room.

Although lacking curb appeal and smaller than most hotels, it was very clean and the owners were attentive. Bonus was having the smart TV connected which many hotels lack. Perfect location.

Some noise from the highway could be heard in the room.

JR was on top of things and very caring for his guests. He made sure we new what there was to do in the area, the best place to eat, how to get there, etc. He opened the hotel lounge for us and made sure he had the beverages we like to drink and we were allowed to play the music we liked.

The water had a terrible odor which I am sure had to do with there being iron in the water from the deepness of the well.

We meet JR and he was very friendly and nice. We got a map for motorcycle tours right at the beginning and we ask for something and he was more than eager to help us. Thank you JR for that wonderful stay!

The room was not very big, but all the rest made up for it. We had a really good stay there.
