While it is a bit rundown, the place was VERY clean, like I wiped it down and the cloth was still clean kind of clean! The carpets were clean too, quite a feat at a sandy beach hotel. The bed was comfortable, I was surprised at how roomy the mini-fridge was, the pool was a great temperature, and the VIEW WOW! It's in a great location just off the main highway but far enough away you don't hear traffic. The beach was fairly private and I didn't hear any other guests despite it being booked up.

Access to the immediate beach is tough with 100+ steep stairs, difficult for small children and anyone with mobility issues. However it only takes 3-5 minutes to drive to very accessible parts of the beach so this wasn't an issue. It was partially a positive too because it kept the noise by our hotel very low! A broom or outside spigot to rinse off sand would be appreciated. The hotel is quite old and in the process of being renovated. Some fresh paint and updated appliances will do wonders, but it was clean, comfortable, and met our needs perfectly. I'm looking forward to returning again and seeing how it's improved!

The bed was firm but had a softer layer on top - perfect for us, location was great and easy to access, and close to everything downtown. The office lady, Carrie, was very cheerful and helpful. Night time clerk was very knowledgeable about the area. Good coffee in the room. Shower was fine, water is nice and soft. Towels were great! Beach access is close by.

I thought we were going to have a balcony but only had a full length window - it was a great view, though! No breakfast, altho good coffee was in our room with a little coffee maker. Very small old decor bathroom.

The staff was wonderful from the start. Amazing view and location. The new owner was a super nice lady and she has so many plans for the place and I can'twait to see on our next visit. We will always stay here when visiting. It has a warm welcoming vibe. Family friendly! Thanks for the great stay!

There could be a couple updates in the rooms and bathrooms, it sounds like the new owners have lots of things planned and have already started. For the price it was great!

That it was affordable and oceanfront.

The pool area was dangerous. Told the reception about the cover flipping off the pool area. The older lady acted like she has heard it before but refused to do anything. The other staff was great, but this one older lady was awful. My son fell in the hole in the pool house, we asked for orange cones to put up around it and she refused and said it won't change anything. Angry that my son could have been hurt over anything.

The staff were so amazing friendly. It was so refreshing. The room was beautiful, clean and the beds were super comfy.

While it was a well built building it was pretty noisy. There was a lot of noise through the night coming very the folks above up. The beach access is a long long set of very steep chairs. I would not recommend for any with mobility concerns. You can drive to close east access to the beach.

I really liked the view. The office staff were extremely friendly, and everyone was definitely welcoming. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The coffee maker was well setup and prepared.

Front door could've been more secure. The carpeting could probably use updating, as well as the bathtub (it was old). I really enjoyed my stay at this place, so I can't really think of many things that I didn't specifically like.

Room was warm upon arriving and that was nice because it was so cold out. Since the place is older we had to crack a small part of the window for fresh air.

Only things I noticed was how cold my feet were on the wood floors and there was not much of an option to have any fresh air coming into the room.

Staff was great, views excellent and allowed our dog. Booked the day we were there, owner even showed us an upgrade room to see if we'd rather get that. Pool was very nice and outdoor hot tub was fun. Looks dated but we loved it, definitely will want to come back.

Beds could've been more comfortable however my son and girlfriend liked them and if booked parking might be hard but staff, views and ability to get on beach made it great.

Location is awesome, right on Lincoln Beach. It's an unfussy but friendly motel. It's a bit on the old side, but they keep it clean and well maintained.

The walls are pretty thin, we could hear even a microwave running in the room next door. The parking situation is a bit inconvenient, but it means more rooms can see the ocean.

Front desk staff were so kind. Location and access to the beach are perfect. Great overall value with everything needed for a quick coast trip!

Key drop off was a little confusing. We left before the front desk was open and hadn't really been informed where to put keys as I didn't see a drop off box.
