The breakfast was great! The staff was extra helpful and the food was delicious. Peaches is an employee that not only offered to get a bowl of delicious grits for me, but also brought a map of downtown and booklets that had information about the city. She went beyond service, she was exceptional! Love the location, across the street from the Stevens Center (ballet) and we could walk to the children's museum. This is a great hotel to stay in when visiting downtown Winston-Salem.

The elevators are a bit nerve-wracking. One elevator went to the floor and the doors did not open until we pushed the button to open the doors. If I had issues with being stuck in an elevator that would have triggered it.

The breakfast was fantastic. The breakfast staff was extremely courteous. The beds were comfortable. Great location.

Parking was $20 per day. The hot tub was not in service. A good deep cleaning of the room would have been great. It was clean, but like the edges and baseboards and such needed cleaned. The pull out couch was terribly uncomfortable and the blankets we requested for it had a nasty odor that smelled the entire room, so we threw them in a corner and didn’t use them.

Close proximity to where I needed to be. Liked the suite and room to spread out. Breakfast was awesome. Managers reception wasn’t so great. Have seen better receptions at other embassy suites.

Property needs lots of renovation. Mold in bathroom tub everywhere. Lots of wear and tear. Only one remote in my room

Having a place to be with my wife without the kids. Being able to walk to the restaurants and bars that are so close by. Downtown Winston-Salem is a pretty cool place. The hotel breakfast wasn't bad either😉

That we couldn't stay longer. It is a little pricey. I definitely think the room rate could be slightly more affordable.

Check-in was quick and easy.The room was clean comfortable and exactly what I expected. Staff was very nice and professional. The parking deck was accessible through the hotel. I was traveling with my three young children (ages 2, 4 and 8) along with their father and all our needs were meet.

The hotel was large with only one working elevator which was a problem seeing as our floor was on the 8th floor. Upon arrival the microwave did not work. I called the front desk to report the issue. It was fixed but the wait for maintenance to arrive was over an hour.

the room was huge and the bathroom was also. very roomy! Everything was very clean.

being downtown, all night long we were woken by police sirens and ambulances (there may be a hospital close by, not sure). And then very early in the morning we were awaken by people talking/yelling on the street.

I really liked that the staff was friendly and that the rooms were very clean. I also enjoyed the free breakfast, very good quality!

I think the rooms need to be remodeled the small upgrades are nice but the walls and the arches reflect the age of the building.

Room was great, beds were comfortable, location was wonderful, staff was super friendly.

Only 1 elevator working made getting in and out very annoying, No hot breakfast on Sunday (heard a truck didn't show up)....in room fridge didn't quite fit where it was so door gets stuck if not slammed and froze up because I didn't realize it was cracked open.

Check in was easy the lady at the front desk was really friendly.

The Temperature of the room that we were in was overheated. They offered us another room but we couldn’t leave because we already settled with our little one.

I had to visit a Dr at the Winston Salem Hospital about my cancer surgery and the hotel was only 4 miles from where we had to go. It was very clean and the staff who checked me in/out was nice as well. I really enjoyed our stay. I wish I could have stayed a week, but I will be back to stay longer next time.

No smoking in the room and it was so much of a hassle to leave the room to go down stairs to go outside to smoke.
