Fairway Forest0

The Fairway Forest is being renovated and we were lucky to be the first booking of the renovated unit. The reno is very nice, spacious, clean, comfortable and a great location for us. The kitchen was adequately equipped for minor cooking.

Not a fault of the staff, but the unit needs sound proofing. We could hear every word and sound out of the adjoining unit. Since the whole resort is being renovated I would recommend to the owners to add some soundproofing.

very beautiful, newly renovated! extremely spacious and clean! perfect for our anniversary romantic weekend! fully stocked with cookware. kitchen with stove, microwave, a fridge that makes ice in freezer, washer and dryer (whirlpool) cleans clothes very well! everything you need on your mountain getaway. close to beautiful hikes and amazing restaurants. Micas restaurant is right down the road and it was amazing. The staff was very responsive and willing to make our stay comfortable at our convenience.

everything was wonderful. we didn’t have any spoons or silverware but we got some from the building where the pool and hot tub was located.

Quiet and clean. Was way more than we wanted but there were no motels around.

For a unit that could sleep four, there was no congregating area. The TV room had a sleeper sofa for seating, and it could seat only 2 people. The kitchen was equipped for four and the bath was designed so that there were sinks in the bath and the bedroom, making it convenient for four people. Seemed odd that there was no place for four people to gather. It didn't matter to us because there were just two of us.

Beautiful unit and views. Staff was very friendly, Blake at the front desk was great!

Only negative was our unit had a connecting door with another unit which had a large gap at the bottom of the door so you could hear the voices and see the shadows of the guests in the adjoining unit. A properly sized door would alleviate this and give a feeling of privacy.

One of a kind amenities, especially lake vistas/beach experience

Property a bit dated and odor problem. We suggest taking out carpet and utilize different flooring, the staff came immediately and tried to solve the problem but to no avail. But the air was cool outside and we kept the windows open while we were there, also add a grill on site. Would have given 10’s if not for this. Other than that everything was exceptional, kitchen, bed, living room, and great natural fireplace, good clean utensils, linens, etc., amenities and natural beauty of the property offer a unique experience that would rival anywhere on earth.

The place to stay had just been renovated and was very nice. The room was quiet and had a balcony to enjoy the views. The area we stayed at had many attractions and restaurants. People there were nice.

The place to stay was 2-3 miles from the check-in area and many of the amenities were far from the room.

The staff was super friendly, the condo was very clean and comfortable. The bed was great, slept like a log. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and utensils.

The only thing was the noise from the neighboring unit. But that's to be expected sometimes.

Everything was great no complaints

The tv channels were out dated maybe smart tvs would be something to consider for the evenings watch a movie or something cause there’s not much to do in the evening but relax at home. Otherwise amazing

Directions to the resort. We weren't told to turn on Fairway Forest Rd so we continued on Tray Island Rd and drove in circles for 15 minutes before we figured it out. Employees need to be more specific with directions.

There wasn't a place to set your items when you were taking a shower. I had to put my clothing and towel on the floor. Maybe adding something there would be beneficial.
