Hampton Inn New Bern

Great customer service, everyone was very friendly and the breakfast was amazing and so many choices, very well stocked!

My only complaint was the outside traffic noise/head lights coming in. We had a noise machine on and you could still hear so much outside traffic noise. The thicker curtains were not designed to shut so it was just see through white curtains so all the head lights from cars going on the overpass were coming into our room all night and bothering my kiddos.

The breakfast was exceptional, especially for a hotel, and I liked that the breakfast was open until 10 so I didn’t have to wake up super early just to get breakfast. Staff was great and super helpful and the bed was fairly comfortable. I also loved all of the counter space in the bathroom (I’m a woman, I take up a lot of counter space in there). Overall, I would definitely stay there again. I know someone who stayed at a hotel in downtown and payed double what we did for half the experience.

Location was great, bathrooms need a shower curtain liner, lots of food choices, nice dining area, fast elevators, need curtains that close to keep out the light at night.

Breakfast looked good; only had coffee. Good coffee. Location was convenient to I70. and not too far from downtown.

NA - Only had coffee on Sat and Sunday Sunday AM checked out hot breakfast but would have to wait 15-20 min for omelets per staff. There were a lot of people who came in at one time. We understood but did not want to wait. There was a lot of room to room noise. Not the fault of management but not that well insulated between rooms.

I am sorry that I just sent a review that I meant to send about another hotel. Please erase that one. The staff in New Bern was so friendly and helpful and made our stay more enjoyable.

I liked everything thing about it. I have stayed here three times now and it's always clean and quiet. It's a beautiful peaceful place. It has a very nice lobby with a very good breakfast area.

Nothing, it has been wonderful all the way around. I loved the location of the Walmart. We could get there without getting on the main road with all rhat crazy traffic.

Breakfast was better than I expected, the variety of foods offered was exceptional. Eating area was clean and the foods were replaced continuously, nicely laid out. Plenty of tables

Room could have been cleaner, carpet needed vacuuming.

The room was great, and hands down the BEST complimentary breakfast to be found. I want to give a big shoutout to Angela for amazing customer service and for constantly keeping the area clean, stocked and her sunny attitude just made our mornings perfect.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The beds were soft and room was clean. The kids loved the breakfast and the staff at breakfast were very friendly and helpful.

The evening front desk staff seemed to be bothered whenever you asked a question or needed something. The pool could use a cleaning as there were many leaves in it. The rooms looked a little larger in the online pictures but served the purpose.

Location, great breakfast. Friendly front desk staff. Spacious rooms. Large bathroom with plenty of towels and washcloths.

Breakfast tables could have been cleaned more often.
