Well, I wasn’t going to mention this but since you asked; I was very disappointed in the lack of live bloodsport in the pool &/or fitness center. It’s a competitive market and it’s my humble opinion that by now every hotel & motel worth its salt should have live combat sport matches to the death for guests to watch while enjoying the finest wines for sipping during gladiatorial spectacle.

It was so clean and newly remodeled. The afternoon desk clerk was so helpful and insisted on helping me get to my room on the 4th floor, since there wasn't a handicapped room on the first floor.

There was an electrical short in the bathroom exhaust fan; it would go on and off all night starting at 2:00 am! I had also requested a handicapped room with a walk-in shower on the first floor, but they only had a room with a low tub on the 4th floor and I had to walk a long way to get to the elevator. In the end I used the outside door in the parking lot to get to the elevator and it worked out.

Convenient location for activities in Asheville & Great Smoky Mountains NP. Clean room & good breakfast. plenty of free parking space.

We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The room was very cold when we arrived & the thermometer indicated that it’s barely 60 F. It took couple of hours to warm the suite up. On the contrary, the refrigerator was warm at 10 C. There were no sheets, blanket or pillow for sofa bed despite our reservation was for 4 people. We had to go to front desk to get bedding ourselves as the hotel only had one staff on site & no room service available.

Pleasant staff and convenient location. Breakfast was good except for the 'square' chunks of egg (obviously mixed from powder and microwaved). Consistent with other Country Inns.

Almost no water pressure in bathtub (oddly, sink was fine) and water was extremely slow to drain. Didn't report it to front desk until checkout as we were still able to bathe. Hair on bath sink counter and the bed skirt was soiled (and tucked in under the mattress hoping no one would notice). I travel a lot for work and sadly have come to expect a lower level of cleanliness in hotels. This one was actually better than most.

At check in, the representative was super kind. Very informative and efficient. Breakfast was ready and stocked well on both days we ate.

Our room was so close to the ice machine we, heard it every time someone got ice. The majority of the parking was at the back of the building which was a little concerning since it was just my daughter and I traveling.

Staff was pleasant and hotel generally clean and attractive. One major problem in room, however, was that the overflow holes in the sink were black with dirt. Clean them! Nearby restaurants were a plus.

See above. Also, we were told breakfast was 9-10:30 AM on the Sunday morning we left, but saw a lobby sign indicating it was available earlier. We opted for the IHOP close by, and the food was excellent.

Facility was clean staff were friendly. Hotel was modern colors and nicely decorated.

The only thing to note was the bath did not drain. I informed the front desk the first night and then went sightseeing the next day. We arrived back around 5pm and the drain was still not fixed. I informed the hotel front desk again and left for dinner. We returned and the drain was still slow but doable. After fixing the drain they should have cleaned the tub of soap scum to eliminate slip and fall issues, but they did not.

The atmosphere was amazing and genuinely nice people.

A couple of my rooms didnt have enough amenities. Like toilet paper, not enough towels and wash cloths. When one of my guys called the front desk they said they'll send someone and they never showed. One had to use the kleenex that was on the counter and use a set of my towels. The breakfast was repeative and undercooked sausage was very gross. Only thing good was the omelet and biscuit and gravy.

Our room was spacious. The decor was nice. I loved the lobby with the wood staircase. Good selection of breakfast items. The evening front desk gentleman was friendly and very helpful.

The breakfast food was cold but we were able to use a microwave to warm it up. The coffee was strong and not particularly to my liking. The shower was a little decrepit and good use some updates.

The staff was super friendly and very helpful. We drove up Friday night from Florida so we didn’t get in until 3:30am Saturday morning. We had 4 of our kids with us. The gentleman at the desk made the checkin in very quick and easy so we could get our kids to bed. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The only thing I didn’t like was the bed was to hard.
