Comfortable, location, staff

Breakfast over at 9am. The cleaning service is only once a week One elevator was not working.

This hotel was in a perfect location to access both Uptown and Downtown via the Subway. The breakfast offered everything we needed to start the day off. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We arrived mid-morning and stored our luggage until that evening when we came back to check-in. The next day, we again stored our luggage until we left mid-afternoon. The hotel staff also arranged for a car service to take us to the Brooklyn Cruise terminal. The car arrived early and got us there in plenty of time. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel for anyone looking for a nice, clean, affordable place to stay with a friendly and helpful staff!

Amazing breakfast without having to pay extra it is included in the price. Staff is very nice and always ready to help and talk with you. Location easily walkable to metro and nearby attractions like empire state building and even times square is one metro stop away or a 15 min walk

It would be nice if food was always refilled insteqd of having to wait for eggs or other items to be replaced. But that is just a suggestion not a critic because it was a very good breakfast. Cleaning staff were very nice extremely hard working but most don't speak english only spanish. Having said that we always managed to have what we needed It would be nice to have a mini fridge that is the only negative i can really mention

the staff was amazing! the location was excellent! loved keycard elevators are a nice feature for privacy and safety when traveling with kids the continental breakfast wasn’t this over the top amazing thing nor was it disgusting and inedible. I would say it was acceptable / good enough to get the job done. the waffle maker was the best part!

the rooms are a bit small even for a king. but that normal for NY. the walls are however paper thin. so bring earplugs if your a light sleeper

Rich breakfast with plenty of choices. Location of the hotel is very good, right in the middle of Manhattan. The room was ok, with an average bathroom. Something I really enjoyed was that there is free coffee and/or tea for guests during all day, so you can grab one any time!!! Also loved business center, so If you needed to print something, you could do this easily there without coming out of the hotel.

Breakfast place was very crowded during the breakfast time. Could be slightly bigger for such a huge hotel. Didn't like much that bread during breakfast sometimes was still frozen. You had to toast it, even twice to be eatable. Overall, much more pros than cons, it is really nice place.

The staff presented themself in a professional manner very courteous understanding to your needs the facility itself was spotless had enough Tales complementary bath products free delivery from GrubHub which worked out wonderful I love the honor System with the snacks the 24-hour coffee and tea was wonderful and delicious and hit the spot the breakfast was good the staff who ran the breakfast was courteous Act of professional and very helpful the location was excellent close to the train station close to Madison Square Garden where the concert we attended was taking place close to shopping area I felt safe coming off the elevator the ice machine was a Plus on the floor that I was on the television works fine and I even received the courtesy call from the front desk to see how my stay was going. I plan to return to the Hampton Inn on my next visit to New York City and any city that has a Hampton Inn I will definitely stay there and I will definitely be telling all my friends and family on the great hotel that I stayed in in New York City the Hampton Inn and the staff that made my visit A +.

Location was perfect if you want to be in central Manhattan (Times Sq, MSG, Penn Station). Room was comfortable for 2 people (not those tiny spaces where the bed envelops the sq footage.ideal if you’re looking for some place safe and familiar feeling, if you’re fancy and need pampering and swanky bars in the lobby, this isn’t for you. Otherwise, the hotel serves its purpose in an efficient and uncomplicated manner.

Can’t think of anything because I knew what to expect having stayed at Hampton Inns in the past.

All staff were frienldly, courteous and helpful. Check in was chaotic due to alot of guest checking out late, and alot of new guests checking in at the same time. Staff remained smiling, and apologized for wait. We had to wait about 30 min for room to be ready. Staff was great!!! Would definitely stay here again. It was very close to Madison Square Garden, which made it so easy to get to and return to from Venue.

Eating area was too warm, once it became crowded. Tv channel guide in room outdated. Wished tv was a smart tv so i could of logged into.my own accounts.

Location was AMAZING!!! Beds were firm but not too much. Short walk to Penn Station, Madison Square Garden, Empire State Building, Macy’s on 34th and some great pizza and bagel shops within a block or two. If you are looking for a hotel to shower and rest after exploring all day and night, this is a great choice. Was only in the room for showering and sleeping so it was perfect for what we needed it for. Having the Nordstroms rack two doors down sure didn’t hurt either! In the event you forget anything and need to purchase bags, phone accessories, skin care, make up clothes, shoes etc.

AC was not working. Made a loud squeaking noise and the air coming out was hot. Luckily it was cold outside when we visited, so not a big deal at the time. Room would get really warm when we showered seeing as it was a smaller sized room. It was just 2 of us and that was ok but if this room had to be shared between 4 people it would be a super tight fit. Very little room to store luggage other than the small closet (we only brought 1 carry on each.) It was perfect for my son and I but for more than 2 full grown adults, it will be very closed quarters.

The hotel is in a great location very close to popular tourist places and train stations if you want to go further out. Beds were very comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was a good start to the day.

Rooms are quite small as to be expected in New York but there was hardly any storage space for your belongings. Also wasn’t expecting a $50 per night holding fee (it was refunded at the end but still money we had to go without for the trip). Perhaps it said somewhere and I missed it.
