Mohican Resort Motel, Conveniently located to all Adirondack attractions

The Mohican is a charming little resort with clean rooms and facilities along with a wonderful front desk staff. The room, while a little dated, was very clean and comfortable. My family stayed in one of the condo units with a kitchen and dining area. The kitchen was nice, but lacking any cooking utensils/pots pans etc. if you plan on doing any actual cooking. The pools and game room were clean and the grounds well maintained. We will definitely look forward to staying in the future.

The only real issue was the AC layout in the condo unit we stayed it. It had only one wall unit in the main area and nothing in the actual bed rooms. They did provide a large box fan to help circulate the AC, but if we had not already also brought our own fans it would have been quite uncomfortable in the bedrooms.

We had a 2 story condo room (2 bedroom 2 baths) with balcony. Unusual for a motel and perfect for 4 adults, almost feels like an old 60s-built garden apartment in a good way, with each unit having its own door to the outside. Very well maintained rooms and grounds with excellent attentive staff. Lots of families and everyone was friendly.

If you like the way modern hotels are being built today-- 4-5 stories, windows that don't open, use your phone instead of a key, etc.--then this place is not for you. But if you hate that and prefer a good value for well maintained retro, this is a great option. Breakfast is only good for grab and go (cereal, coffee, yogurt, OJ). But that's OK because there are great options in the area. Owners are little by little replacing dated carpeting with hard flooring, but as of summer 23 they still had a ways to go.

It's become a family tradition to stay at least one weekend during the summer at the Mohican. We feel very comfortable there largely due to the owners and staff.. we only met the front desk manager this visit but she was very nice and helpful. Love the pool area..kids enjoyed arcade and kids were so happy that they were given a separate room with their own tv and ac( wasnt sure by looking at itinerary. We will see you again soon.

Just minor cosmetic issues in the room..easily corrected I'm sure...

The bed was wonderful, the accommodations in the kitchen were fantastic. I really enjoyed being able to fit 5 people in my room because my whole family enjoyed this. The pools were clean and in great shape. So was the hot tub.

There wasn't anything I didn't really like, it was an easy enjoyable stay and I would definitely stay again.

The rooms were nice. The beds were sooo comfy. The staff were very attentive & helped us with anything we needed.

The indoor pool was supposed to be heated according to their website. While the hot tub which is adjacent to the indoor pool was great the regular pool was never warm. My daughter was constantly shivering. We used the outdoor pool more than the indoor pool because it was warmer (even on the day it never was above 71° and cloudy) than the indoor pool

Amenities didn't match what was online. There was no game room like advertised. The hot tub needs work because only 2 jets worked, so it was more like a hot bath tub. The indoor pool could have been a little warmer with towels available instead of having to go to the office. A bathroom in the building would be nice too. The internet didn't work or the vending machine. It would be nice to have a snack vending machine and not just one with soda.It was ok during the day when you could ask staff to open it, but at night after the staff left the property you weren't able to use it. They really could use a full-time maintenance person to fix and keep up with all the things that need attention. Nice place to be close to the village and outlets. Wish there were TV's in both bedrooms. Coffee not kept hot and fresh and ran out of creamers. Playground in need of repairs and no swings for the older children.

The staff is wonderful and nice. Breakfast was good to grab something quick for the kids. They were great about grabbing something even after the breakfast hours were over. Would have been nice if coffee was always fresh and hot. Beds were comfortable. It was nice to have outdoor grills to cook on and picnic tables to eat at. Staff was very friendly and helpful when you needed anything. Nice that it's dog friendly too so you can travel with your fur family. Nice hot showers. I would definitely stay there again. It's under new ownership so I'm sure that the little things will be fixed in time.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and polite. Staff was always willing to help if needed. The stay was exceptionally well. The location was excellent we were not in town but 15 minutes from downtown Lake George the opposite way about 20 minutes was everything location was fabulous. Private and quiet perfect. The only thing that bothered me was the room I thought my room would’ve been bigger for the amount of money I paid for it. But there was five of us and we did get to stay together overall it was very good today would recommend.

My boyfriend & I were at Lake George for the weekend with my family and a few days before the trip we decided to spend an extra night and booked with Mohican Motel and for a last minute booking I was amazed by the incredible service. Staff was wonderful and available to help whenever we needed them and the rooms were immaculate PLUS it’s close enough to the center but also just a small commute to the local Walmart and the outlet shopping center for any last minute things we needed to pick up. Absolutely LOVED. 10/10

Great staff, nice little pool and good location walking distance to restaurants and outlets.

Breakfast. It would be nice to try even a little, bread served nicer than out of the bags, some cold cuts or cheese as well as the butter and jam (one squeeze bottle available) and enough juice for also the people who come after 8.

Well-maintained, great value, friendly and accommodating staff, pool and hot tub, not crowded in the off-season.

It’s an older budget hotel; the bathroom in our room is not very big and didn’t have electric outlets, and the pillows and beds were good but not great.
