Meadow Court Inn - Ithaca

I honestly wasn’t expecting much for a pretty cheap room. We were touring colleges and just needed a room to spend the night but it was very spacious and clean. I’ve been to hotels for similar reasons for the same price and this is the best I’ve seen, staff was sweet as well. If we ever go back to Ithaca we’ll most likely be staying there for sure.

Kind of our fault, but the ac unit was broken and unplugged so we assumed there was no way of controlling the temp. It was late so we just went to bed not realizing the thermostat on the wall as we’ve never seen one that looks like that. We noticed literally at 7am when we were packing up. Salty about that. Other then that I was chill the whole time nothing complaint worthy

We were granted more and better accommodations than we were expecting based on the outlined features of the booking, including a microwave, fridge, wifi, and continental breakfast. We also received extremely comfortable fleece throw blankets which I have never encountered even at the highest end hotels I have stayed at.

The temperature control in the room was a bit noisier than we expected as it kicked on and off during our stay. The counter space in the bathroom was also limited. That being said, these were each issues so minor that it is almost not worth mentioning.

I was very pleasantly surprised by my stay. I went for my son's graduation from Cornell. I had read a few unflattering reviews about Meadow Court Inn, but I'm always a little skeptical of reviews from other Cornell parents. My child attended Cornell on an academic scholarship, in other words, we aren't wealthy. Haha My room was quite large and very clean! It had a pretty big refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Two queen beds, a nice little table and chairs and a desk. Lots of drawers and plenty of room to hang up my clothes. The toiletries were good quality and a decent size. Ithaca is a very small town and I'm quite sure that the local hotels and restaurants make most of their money during university events. So many of the hotels raise their prices to very unaffordable levels. I completely understand why it is necessary, but I couldn't afford many of the sky high prices. The Meadow Court Inn was in a price range that I could afford and the location was very close to Cornell, Walgreens and a Wegmans grocery store. I wish I had stayed at Meadow Court for all my Ithaca visits!

The ice machine in my building was not working.

Boys took over gazebo smoking a bong at midnight while unpacking my car. I should’ve complained but thought best to go to my room and try to sleep. Didn’t want enemies

The room was very clean. and nice. Each room has patio chair on the outside of the rooms to lounge. Had parking which is a plus. Being in the city was close to all shops and markets. 20 mins from any winery or distillery. Staff and guest were friendly. Great value.

The rooms are very big. I was in the location behind the office with an internal hallway. It was very quiet even though it is right on a main road. Nice location to access many food and shopping locations.

The shower head was more like the stream from a hose. There is hard water in the area (not something the hotel has control over) so the shower head might have been clogged.

Worked well with 2 separate beds. Had a frig and microwave.

Bathroom set up was a bit strange as the door, when open, covers the area of the shower and toilet. You have to close the bathroom door to freely utilize the entire bathroom. The 2nd floor outside the room was safe but still had an angled walk tilting down a bit that felt a strange but was safe.

.Central location, Clean room, Quiet, good nights sleep. Did not avail myself of the breakfast.

Clean, comfortable room. Very spacious. Plenty of parking. Quite a basic breakfast in the morning but we appreciated it nonetheless!

Lagre (old) stain on the carpet next to the bed - I felt more comfortable wearing shoes whilst walking around the room. Also some ceiling tiles were missing in the bathroom.

The staff was pleasant and helpful. Rooms were a little dated but clean and quiet. Roomier than expected. Close to all and walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The restaurant had an Octoberfest menu the weekend we were there which we enjoyed one night - very friendly staff and we were able to eat outside- recommend! Will stay here again
