Sand Pebble Motor Lodge

The room was clean, very close to the boardwalk, the gentleman who checked us in was friendly. Ice was located right across from the main office. The main office sold small snacks, cans of soda etc. They had coffee available in the main office in the morning via Keurig machine.

Was not able to get early check in time. We were coming for the Elks annual polar bear plunge (fundraising event) and asked to check in early. Over the phone they told us the best they *might* be able to accommodate us was 11:30am, which they could not guarantee. That did not work for us since we had to plunge into the ocean at noon. We ended up doing a late check in after the festivities were over.

the staff was very polite and made us feel welcomed. this was our second time staying here and since our first experience was great we wanted to ensure our overnight getaway was worth it and it definitely was. 💕the beds are very comfortable, location is close to the beach but far enough away from noise. also close to a great place to grab a breakfast sandwich and a good cup of coffee on the boardwalk

the pillows (fluffy until you lay in them and then they become flat without any support) and the location of our room was at the end (116) next to the exit door so we heard the guests each time they would enter or leave. there wasnt much guest traffic until the morning but there was this scrapping noise all night and morning. sounded like someone was dragging a chair back and forth on the roof I think it was because of the location of our room because there was nobody anywhere around so had to be next to a facility room.

The room was spotless, shower was great, plenty of hot water whenever taking a shower. The staff from check in to cleaning services were very friendly and attentive, great restaurant suggestions. The pool is lovely with a snack bar that serves delicious coffee and breakfast and lunch. The location is perfect, you can leave your car in the lot and walk to the beach, not paying those high parking prices. I have stayed at several Pt. Pleasant motels and this was by far the best, can't wait to go back.

Very friendly staff. Great shower. Great pool and the food at the small grill was great.

No place to hang towels in bathroom. Small TV and remote seemed to be wrong for the TV. Had to walk a distance for the beach as nearby entrances closed. Hard to believe Point Pleasant still charging full price after Labor Day. Huge bird problem! Drove 10 min to Manasquan which was much nicer.

Staff was friendly. Free coffee in the lobby. Room very clean. For us the soft beds were too soft but I know some folks like those pillow tops- not good for my bad back.

The toilet was right next to the wall in a corner- very tight- rest of bathroom was fine. The table was tiny and wobbly, a bigger table would be helpful. Could not walk onto the beach, all close by entrances closed. Even in winter, I like to walk on the beach. I know this is not the fault of the hotel, but a turn off.

location was great. easy parking, at least off season. room was large and quiet other than when someone was right outside door. located at the end of the boardwalk; making it easier to get on beach with dog

door didn’t close and latch with out good push or pull. coffee offered in office wasn’t available until after 8. out the door well before then

I have been to The Sand Pebble many times in previous years and always hospitality is awesome! Your new girl at the front desk is FANTASTIC! She is certainly a HUGE assest and I always like Maralyn so it's a touch act to follow. Se managed phone conversations so professionally and courteous nd informative. Great Job!!!

I think the rooms need a little work. Carpet in room 19 was stained/dirty looking. The room cleanliness was perfect, though. Again, the staff is awesome. Although the location is perfect to get to the beach, the ntrance was closed at New Jersey Ave and I needed to walk down pretty far to get on the beach(At Jenkinson's) You might have mentioned that on the phone to me...it would not have change my plan but not happy about that. Otherwise, Sand Pebble is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by me.

Location is fantastic. Walk right to the boardwalk. Facility itself is good, not like a creepy motel. Much more reasonable and safe feeling. The owner/manager checked on us the morning after our after hours check in, and seemed to care about our experience. Overall good.

The bed was just not comfortable. There is not 24 hr office staff so do NOT need anything after 11pm. If you happen to change your booking at any point- CALL THEM. They may not know you added a day or updated your arrival time. There were cleaning supplies in bags laying on the hall floor for 24hrs.

The rooms were spotless! And nicely decorated. Great location, nice pool, staff was friendly.

The only thing I did not like was the hours of the poolside breakfast/lunch shack, which at the time in May, closed at 11 a.m. Folks came along all afternoon, and were hoping to grab a snack or drink there. Second, a coffee maker in the room is really something I expected; that, and a blowdryer.
