Holiday Inn Express Haskell-Wayne Area, an IHG Hotel

The staff was very helpful, our room was cleaned every day as we spent 9 nights here. Breakfast was so good and included hot food. It was really quiet and the bed and the pillows were super comfy.

The only thing was that we couldn't open the windows for fresh air but I understand that with the heat and moscitos it is the best solution.

The breakfast was ok - the front desk clerk took all the fruit loop cereal so the kids could not have that - the eggs ran out and the kitchen attendant was watching TV - the eggs need some quality control. The room was nice, spacious and clean.

I felt like the team could have been more professional - though the front desk girl was very friendly and nice, she was wearing bedroom slippers and smelled of cigarette smoke, and when we asked for more eggs the kitchen attendant was rude and annoyed that we were interrupting her TV show. I was charged $50 for each room as a security deposit that has yet to be returned.

I loved every part of this location. The value of this hotel really exceeded my expectations. I will be frequenting this location several times a year in the future. I do want to make note that this is a pet friendly hotel and during my stay there were many dogs there. Dogs bark. I personally didn’t mind and was actually excited to see how welcoming they were and I will be bringing my pup with me next time. If you are scared of dogs or not ok with a little bark here and there then I would book elsewhere. If your animal lover I highly recommend!

Not a bad thing to say about the place

I liked the location right off I-287 as there are few other lodging choices in the area. Very comfortable room and great breakfast with both healthy and unhealthy options. (I like both!) Staff were mostly great and very helpful. I'd definitely stay again.

Room was clean but the mini-fridge was slightly funky. The hotel is on the expensive side so it's not a great value but it was a nice stay in a convenient location with few other options.

Clean beautiful room with a comfortable bed and a chaise lounge to watch TV in. That chaise lounge was my favorite part of the room. I loved the indoor pool as well and spent some time in it. I have a disability due to back and leg trauma. The pool is the only was to get exercise without severe pain.

There was nothing to complain about, actually. From check in until I left it was a wonderful experience.

Liked everything. Clean, new, everything worked. ABSOLUTLEY LOVED THAT YOU HAD BOTH SOFT AND FIRM PILLOWS ON BOTH BEDS - AND THE PILLOWS WERE LABELED.

Nothing. Everything was as good as it needed to be - which was very good in all respects. Suggest you make the make the words "firm" and "soft" on the pillows a different color so it's easier to see - THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT - JUST TRYING TO BE HELPFUL.

The hotel was fine for our needs - we were only there for one night as we were in the area for a hockey tournament. The rate was good considering we booked early - pricing in the area went up as the date of the event neared so our friends that booked later, paid higher rates at other hotels.

Breakfast could have opened sooner! We needed to be somewhere by 7:30 and we couldn't wait for breakfast to start at 7am. Understand that the hot food would take some time to set up, but would have appreciated if the staff offered any To-Go items as an option. We were told that breakfast didn't start until 7am so didn't feel like it was OK to grab cereal or yogurt. When you have kids that's kind of frustrating.

I’ve never stayed at a hotel that have complimentary water in the room. This was disappointing to find out you have to extra for water.

The. Price was too expensive. The lighting in the foyer and at the microwave and fridge and coffee bar was inadequate.
