Comfort Suites - Columbia

Complimentary breakfast was definitely above average. Staff was friendly. To be honest, the standout feature for our family was the pool. It was the perfect temperature! We're used to hotel pools being freezing when you step in. But this was nice and warm without being too hot. All around, we had a nice and relaxing time during our stay.

We stayed on the third floor and there was just a bucket in the hallway catching dripping water from an exposed ceiling. Not the best first impression. Fortunately the room itself was totally clean from start to finish.

Our family had reserved one room for our trip, but wound up needing two rooms last minute. Not only did they accommodate us with two rooms, they were adjoining rooms and it worked out great! Their helpfulness and family accommodations (we had 8 total traveling with us) were excellent!

Pool had too much chlorine and was very warm (during warm weather). It would have been nice to have non-pork products available for breakfast.

The tub in my room had a hole in it when I checked in. My friend tried to go down later to tell staff about it on 3rd shift and she never came to the desk to see him. So days go on during my stay all is fine. Few days after check out I check my bank account and they toke 400 form my account without my permission or speaking to me about it. I called the hotel and got the run around about the tub An fees the lady asks why didn’t u report it I said we tried but desk lady wouldn’t appear to tell her after waiting close to 30 mins for her to show. I leave go back to room and sleep check out next day. So when I called hotel to ask about fee they go why didn’t u report it I said I tried but no one showed and also I figured u all know about it cus I didn’t do it and u all rented out the room. I argue with them and so does my bank to get my money back and they refuse too even after all that an extremely hi fees paid. I show up with my 2 teenage girls to try and stay there cus we had a house fire and needed somewhere to go n dead of winter and during a snow/ice storm. Show up to hotel and I’ve been placed on the do not rent to list, I explain my situation with kids fire no place to go and very little money now cus of them and we have no place to go and no heat in r car either. I offer to sleep n my car if they let my kids stay n a room so they r safe and warm. Refuse so my daughter who is 19 asks if she can rent it instead they go no u can’t she asks why and and they say cus u might sneak her n the room we all say no we won’t. I even offer to leave property so that can’t happen if they can stay nope,so they recommended a hotel that had all the same features as they did but didn’t tell us it was 30 miles away. We go and when we get there all booked and pool hasn’t been opened to guest n a month or longer and that’s what my kids wanted why we choose comfort suites for the pool. We ended up having to sleep n van in single digit weather..

Leaving a poor single mom alone and her money during a crisis

I have stayed at this hotel several times. The staff is extremely gracious. Hot breakfast. Easy access to University of Missouri and I70. clean room. Safe environment. will stay again.

The facility is not as modern and new as other hotels. Sofa in my room needs to be replaced, springs are shot. not a deal breaker

Room size

Room was not stocked with coffee and was very dusty all over. Bathroom had stuff on wall not sure what it was but did look good. Asked for a late check out due to Dr. Appointment. Was told if not gone by noon would be charged a fee not very nicely. Had not been an issue before.. one reason I came back to this hotel. We ended up not needing to stay later than 11 am Thankfully. Housekeeping knocked once before 9 am and tried to walk in like we were gone already but we had door lock on.

Room was nice, good size, and amenities

Tile floor in bathroom broken, a little unstable, needs to be replaced. Drywall tape peeling from wall above bed headboard. Bulb burnt out in floor lamp.

This is my 4th stay here. Great value. I love the location and proximity to Mizzou to see my Tiger. Clean room. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Will be back.

Number 1, the staff is excellent. Very pleasant and ready to help. The facility is a good value for the price point.

Roadway layout makes getting in and out somewhat awkward for the first time. We are used to it now.

for my purpose, it was conveniently located for easy access during my travels

the bathroom was in need of some repair, a mirror was partially disconnected from the wall and the toilet had debris in it when I arrived

We like the consistency of service, cleanliness and location of this hotel

Our room was next to the front parking lot and on-ramp to the interstate. The air conditioner was a little loud, so occasional was loud.
