Hyatt Place Jackson Ridgeland

the room was great, the location was very nice. check in and check out was very fast, no problem. the pool was clean. we asked for extra towels, they brought them right away.

the entrance front and back were not clean, paper on the floor, and it smelled like it was mopped with old mop water. the breakfast was ok, coffee was cold, waffles hard.

Comfy beds and nice room. Staff was pleasant despite not being competent enough in the professional aspect.

Check-in was at 4pm and we arrived at almost 8pm due to playing tournaments. We were told our room was not ready and I even requested early check-in. We were given no estimate on when it would be ready and they would call. Never received a call so at almost 10pm I called back and was told it was ready. A call or email before hand would have been nice. But unacceptable to have a 6hour delay upon check in time to have a room ready. No communication on changes on requesting linen changes etc. they could have compensated for the trouble as all of the nearby hotels were booked due to state tournaments in town.

Good stay. Evn though there was an event downstairs, the noise or sound did not impede my rest or peace during this stay. The staff was efficient and nice though I checked in late.

Had a few bugs in the shower and along the way. Not roaches, just the bugs that come out that time of the year. Get a treatment please.

The rooms were great. The big screen TV was a suprise. The young man that checked me in was extremely nice. Everything with the facility was very good.

The breakfast was a Green Apple & Banana, yogurt, coffee & bottled water. I was told there would be a boxed breakfast. i didn't see them. The gentleman checking me out was not very friendly and hardly spoke. I could have stayed at hotels closer, but i like to have a breakfast before leaving. That's what I thought I was paying the extra money for.

the room was really nice. the handle on the toilet needs fixing asap!

it smelled like poop in the lobby and the toilet wasn’t working properly. the check in time on booking says 3 but the hotel says 4. please get a clear understanding.

Close to a very nice shopping center and to our conference destination (Embassy Suites). Liked the size of the room and the shower was very nice.

The walls are THIN to say the least. One can hear nearly every move of the people next door and in the hallway. This was the biggest disappointment, along with no hot breakfast, but that was due to COVID-19 safety measures.

our stay was spectacular. this was a great place. super friendly. amazing breakfast- made to order omelets, pancakes, b&g, the list goes on and on- all for free with your stay!!! beds were so comfy. rooms were spacious. very clean! staff was amazing as well.

Location is great.

Pool was cloudy and pump not running. Water was cool and that was the main thing. Bed was uncomfortable to me. Pillows very soft and 2 outlets by the bed didn't work ( I did notify desk associates).

Breakfast was great, staff was amazing. Not sure if the young guys name but he was very welcoming and helpful!

I wish I had 2 more pillows per bed. I didn’t call to see if I could get more but next time I will or either just being more!

The location and upscale look when you walk in.

Something bit me on my ear in my sleep I slap it off couldn’t find it. There was hair in the sausages and when I advised cook she seem to not be easy to approach. The pool had to much chlorine you could smell it as you enter the 1st door to entrance to the pool area
