White House Hotel

Everyone was very friendly including the cleaning staff who seemed to be around from early morning to late at night.

Our only negative was that we didn't pay enough attention to the room amenities and a refrigerator and microwave was not included in the room.

Majesty at the front desk is a absolute rockstar! Amazing personality. Professional. Knew places to go in the city to see what Biloxi had to offer.

Did not like the closet being in the bathroom, worried clothes would become damp when I showered. When you do #2, would your clothes smell like that? Two questions I didn’t want to know the answer to. I left suitcase in room with me. Also didn’t like there was no refrigerator or microwave. Also booking. Com has on the end of my booking that says “Meal plan” “Dinner costs $35 per person, per night.” Which the hotel manager clearly told me is NOT part of their program. Since I was charged for this, booking. Com needs to issue me a REFUND! for the $35 per night, since hotel doesn’t offer breakfast except sat & sun. Because of this I didn’t bother eating at hotel at all.

Spacious room with a great view of the beach. The bathrobes provided a nice touch to the overall classic Southern charm of the hotel. If you like the charm and friendliness of the old south this is a great choice. We loved our stay!

The one thing that was very disappointing, was that the hotel did not have concierge services nor did they train the front desk staff to answer questions about local attractions and basic things to do in the area. The hotel is close to local attractions. The Biloxi Welcoming Center is just blocks away and can provide a wealth of information during your stay.

It was very conveniently located near Keesler (where we were visiting our son), the interstate, and right along the beach. Wonderful view, easy access to main attractions (the aquarium, the Beauvoir House, beach and jet ski rentals, dining) and a beautiful historic building with good ol’ Southern Hospitality. Truly fantastic all the way around. Would visit again!

The rooms are lovely, although perhaps sparsely furnished which would have made them a little more comfortable for relaxing. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room anyway as we were outside a lot, but the few times we were trying to get a little downtime in we were left just hanging on the bed. They should also maybe add a couple other shelves in the shower as it isn’t practical for all of the toiletries a couple may travel with.

The facilities were great. I loved the history behind the hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly. The other staff was constantly cleaning and they all had a smile. Located on Beach Blvd it was easy access to the casinos and other restaurants. The room was comfortable, and there was a fridge and Kuerig in the room. When we needed towels or anything, they were on it quickly. We will be returning for another visit. Oh and the stories of the ghosts were interesting.

I wish there was a microwave in the room...Otherwise nothing else...Everything was great

I loved everything about this hotel. The hotel was beautiful, my room was really nice and comfortable. The staff was friendly and nice. I loved the patio, and I loved Cora’s restaurant and its staff. The hotel was a short walk across the street from the beach, and it was close to every thing. I will definitely stay here again when I’m in Biloxi.

Booking.com said that I purchased an ocean view, but it wasn’t. My room was facing a beautiful tree and a parking lot. However, I loved my room and bed so much, that I can’t complain.

There was a wedding and the main elevator was reserved exclusively for them. Our room was literally right off the elevator, but we had to lug all of our bags down the halls to get to our rooms. 😕 No complimentary coffee in the morning. Had to pay more than $3 for a cup of coffee. Not cool. And I was overcharged on our bill. The front desk manager was very responsive and very kind…fixed the problem quickly when it was brought to their attention. But had I not looked, I would have lost more than $50.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. I cannot believe the extent of renovation work that has gone into preserving it. Our room was absolutely gorgeous, the most comfortable bed we slept so soundly. We woke up and through the blinds open and enjoyed the most incredible view of the ocean and cool. What a spectacular special treat to be able to stay here

In a perfect world the pool would have lights for night time swimming but everything else was exceptionally perfect

The room was very nice and updated. There was ample room on the bedside table for my c-pap machine, book, and phone. In the hotel itself, there was a good choice of places to relax and read, and to have a beer or wine. The entire place was very clean and inviting...a fireplace in the lobby, an open deck on the upper floor with a good view of the ocean/beach. The only drawback the entire visit was that it was very windy and made the 65 degree weather feel like 45 degrees. At least the sun was shining brightly!

Being an old hotel, it was very beautiful, but didn't have double pane windows to keep the humidity down. ALWAYS a puddle of water on the window sills, and the floor damp. Whoever designed the bathroom must have found a really good sale on the sink! It sat on top of the counter about 8in high, and was only a few inches more narrow than the vanity it was sitting on. Didn't leave much room for toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. beside the sink. Our first morning, we intended to eat in the hotel restaurant, but it was closed. We never tried the other mornings.

Love the White House,stay there several times a year and always look forward to coming back! Perfect location.

There was a mix up with the hold on my bank account that I was told by a front desk clerk was solved on Tuesday and in fact she had not released the hold by Friday, when I inquired with one of the other clerks he did it as I stood there. I was very upset that she had not followed through with what she promised.
