Quality Inn - Petoskey

This hotel was beautiful. Clean and comfy. The bed...oh my goodness...so comfy!!! Breakfast was delicious and included. The room looked and FELT super clean. The jacuzzi tub was very relaxing! There was a very nice patio area that we did not go out and enjoy but it was very enticing! We really enjoyed our stay and would give it a 10 EXCEPT for the several phone calls and texts I got the day we were to check in and after we checked out to verify the same info.

A mix up with the front desk really impacted my review of the property, I understand mistakes and human error however when the same error effects you twice within 24 hours it is just plain frustrating.

The gal at the front desk was so friendly. We thought the puzzle in the lobby and the fire pit outside were nice touches, giving folks something to do outside of their rooms. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, & cookies in the lobby were a really nice surprise. The beds were comfy! The location was perfect for our ski trip. Good place to stay.

I would've loved to have a banana & some raisins for my oatmeal at breakfast.

Very clean and comfortable. Quiet and great location. Staff was friendly and kept us supplied with plenty of towels and essentials. Liked the option of not having service come into room unless requested. Placard in the room said the room was sanitized and it felt like it was (in a good way). Room had a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine.

No elevator, which made going upstairs with luggage a small challenge, but not a deal breaker. Could not find the ice machine or any vending machine for snacks. Again not a deal breaker. Gas station/convenience store located at the entry of location, so no need really for vending machines. I would still stay at this location again and plan to.

Everything! After a horrible experience at another hotel in the town over, we booked a room here instead of staying at the awful one. Just walking through the front door was like a dream compared to the night before. Front desk was friendly and the hotel was nice and clean! The room was even better. Spacious, clean, and comfy. I saved the best for last, breakfast was awesome and the wonderful lady (wish I got her name) was just a beautiful soul. You can tell this hotel management is good to their employees because it shows within the hotel and staff. Looking forward to staying here next time we go back. Loved all of it!

Friendly front desk staff. Room was very clean when we arrived. Breakfast was very good with alot of choices and staff replenishing items frequently

No moveable drapes on the window. Just partial drapes on each side and secured for decoration. Only movable shears on the window which weren't sufficient enough when daylight began at 7 am and staying at the hotel for a vacation

The breakfast was good most days and there was a good variety of breakfast items. We stayed 4 nights, and we had the choice of having cleaning staff enter the room or not, we were impressed with that. The linens and towels were very clean. The room was spacious and the bed and pillows were very comfortable.

The bathroom floor could have been cleaned a little better, and there was 3 or 4 good size stains on the carpet in front of the tv/refrigerator and micro wave area. I don't know if anyone had tried to get those spots out, but in our opinion we thought that a spot cleaner could remove them.

Breakfast very good. Cleanliness great. Love the room with a sofa. Staff responded to all needs.

NO elevator in this day in age! Very surprising and very difficult for the elderly on second floor to transport all luggage. Never have experienced no elevator in all our travels. Had to transport heavy luggage down two flights of stairs.

Location and staff were the winners on this visit.

We knew there was no elevator and we had had a lot of bags. I think if we would have arrived earlier, our chances of a ground floor room would have been better. I do not fault the hotel for this, but if you have to have an elevator, be aware.

The room and beds were very comfortable with a generous size refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast consisted of both hot and cold choices and spanned several hours to accommodate any schedule. Located at the northern end of the city, allowed for less traffic and when using the backroads were able to reach the downtown area quickly.

The breakfast was great! Becca was extremely friendly and helpful! We were able to enjoy the gas fire pit in the back. Our bed and pillows we’re comfortable!

The toilet was way to low, difficult to get up from.
