Snyders Shoreline Inn

This hotel was across the street from the water, great view of the harbor entrance. We got a 2 for 1 breakfast voucher for a local restaurant which was great. Nice pool which was 84 degrees warm. This is a lovely old umber town that is not crowded with tourists and yet has it all.... was just what we needed for a couple of day rest during our cross country drive.

This is not a complaint: I was a bit leery of booking this place because some of the reviews said it was dirty. I found it to be a beach hotel, meaning, of course it will be somewhat wind blown, and not quite as fluffy as a city hotel... And yes, it is getting to needing a bit of upgrade in the next few years, but for the price, location and comfort it was great... just think of being on the beach!

The pool, hot tub and our view room with huge patio are all very nice. This is an overall well kept, well run family owned hotel business with an outstanding location for that area!

Not so much a didn't like but to be honest the owner needs to reign in the young staff, who were either visibly lazing around all over the property or fighting loudly with each other, at one point late at night, screaming at each other and banging around. I appreciate employing young kids, perhaps family friends, etc. but this crew let the guests in on, against their will, TOO MUCH personal garbage, it's uncomfortable and not particularly professional or amusing. Won't keep us away, just think the owner should know.

We did the Ludington Triathlon and this hotel was right at the starting line so it was very convienient. The hotel is also located right at the beach so anyone coming to enjoy the beach would like this place. It is a bit old school but the rooms are nicely updated. To be sure, this is not a high end hotel but very comfortable and a great place for a family.

I can't think of anything. I guess the thing is if you want a super high end hotel don't come to this place. If you want a down to earth place to stay with your family when visiting Ludington then this is your place.

It was a small room just big enough for two. The best part is it was a block from Lake Michigan I was able to walk down watch the Sunset 🌇. We did have an issue with our bedding being dirty. Night staff was nice enough to give us clean lines and the next morning Billi was at the front desk she is amazing when we told her about our bed she took on the blame. ( Team Player forsure) she looked up who last cleaned the room and said oh well that girl is no longer with us. She went above and beyond for us. Definitely looking forward to going back.

The manager Billie is amazing and always accommodating for all our needs. The staff is very helpful. The view is outstanding . The rooms are very clean. The beds are very comfortable. The location to all the resteraunts and shops all in walking distance. The view of the lake and Stearns Park Beach. Sitting on the deck or porch and people watching all while relaxing. We have been coming here now for "8 years. We have never been disappointed 🤗

We could see the water from our room and the location was awesome. They gave us a coupon for breakfast at House of Flavors B1G1 due to them no longer having breakfast at the inn. The towels were nice and the hot tub felt fantastic after walking all day. The bed was very comfortable

The bathroom was extremely tiny and the shower was so small you just had enough room to turn around and that's it. The shower head is right at the edge and when you turn it on it blows the shower curtain out and completely floods the whole bathroom in several inches of water. So we had to use all our towels to soak up the water and then get fresh towels for next day.

They were beyond accommodating!! We had booked 1 room for 4 people for one night and then 2 separate rooms for the next night. We had some motorcycle issues and had to leave first thing in the morning to get to the harley dealership in Muskegon and the hotel was able to give us a room before ours were ready and switch our whole reservation around so that we didn't have to pack our bikes back up and then unpack again when we got back. They ended up putting us in a VERY convenient room that actually was able to hold the 4 of us and had a separation between the beds (like it had 2 bedrooms) which allowed us to cancel the other room and receive a refund. This was our second time staying here and we had a wonderful experience both times!! The staff is just the most wonderful and fun to talk to! The rooms were nice and updated since our last stay, which was a nice surprise. I would recommend this place to anyone!! 10 stars!!

We stayed at Snyder's last summer and loved it. We loved it again this year. Our room faced Lake Michigan and was on the second floor. Nice towels, soap etc.

No toilet paper holder. Only a partial roll of TP was there, but that's not a big deal. The refrigerator and ice maker could have been cleaner. The fan in the bathroom doesn't work so it got foggy when taking a shower. It's old fashioned but we loved it.

Location to the beach, mini golfing and town. Everything within walking distance. Billie was great as usual and made sure we had everything we needed.

The last day there was a triathlon and they parked semis and put tents up that blocked our beautiful view.

We had a quiet room with balcony overlooking Lake Michigan. The beds were very comfortable and they had cute wooden rocking chairs on the balcony that we could enjoy while watching the sunset. It also had microwave, fridge, small coffeemaker, sink with a few plates and glasses. Everything was in good working condition.

It was a bit dated and could use a little refresh, but I knew that the room wasn’t brand new and everything was clean. I was disappointed that the advertised continental breakfast was NOT available & the website wasn’t updated to let you know (although they did offer bottled water & granola pkgd bars.
