Breakfast is great and variety of common areas was lovely. Snacks feels very welcoming even though wasn't able to take advantage of most of them.

Check in attendant was very firm about having all parties available to hear the house rules...not really a problem but surprising that so much importance is placed on it, except maybe because of not taking the wine away with us.

They treat you like royalty. Upon arrival, we were given delicious mango sangrias, to drink while Eugen gave us a tour. First, the surprises: welcome cocktail, complimentary bottle of wine, cognac and ice cream in the evening, 24/7 pastries. Second, the hotel: beautiful deck with coy pond and fountain, room was comfortable, although small and eclectic (but fun and interesting). Walking distance to town. Third, the breakfast: outstanding! Full service, unforgettably delicious, freshly baked pastries, fresh fruits, fresh ingredients. Finally, the staff: welcoming, kind, friendly, helpful, available but not hovering.

We stayed in the main house and the room was a bit small and cramped. However, they have done everything possible with the space to make it very comfortable.

The breakfast was generous and we loved all the additional snacks! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable. Walking in Kennedy park and around town was also one of our favorite parts of our trip! Couldn’t recommend any higher! Absolutely fantastic experience!

The only thing I could suggest might be a larger trash can in the kitchenette suites. We did take advantage of our kitchen and cooked a couple of nights and just felt bad about overflowing the trash can. Otherwise, the kitchen was well stocked, especially since a typical kitchenette is a mini fridge and a microwave. The fact that this is the only constructive feedback I have, this says a lot about how awesome this place is!

Very nice and polite staff. Our room was upgraded as the check in guy thought the room we'd booked was too small. It was very kind of him and we really appreciated it. Breakfast was great, although I wasn't well enough to go into the breakfast room due to a cold, the staff prepared me something that my husband brought up. This was a very thoughtful gesture. My husband really liked the breakfasts. The room was very nice, but the road a bit noisy. Welcome drink when we arrived was very nice, and the pastries available every afternoon also nice. It was walking distance into town. Behind the Inn was Kennedy Park, which was lovely to walk in. Pleasure Valley was 5 mins drive, also beautiful for a walk/hike. We liked the Asian fusion restaurant Yao in town. Go to High Lawn Farm for very tasty ice cream. 10 mins drive away.

Only the road was noisy

Warm welcome and pleasant accommodations. A nice breakfast and available brownies and cake for snacking along with fresh fruit at other times. The person greeting us and who interacted with guests in various roles, Cheri, was charming and gracious.

Morning coffee service is only served, If one only would like a cup of coffee once the breakfast service starts, one must sit down and wait to be served. This could be better communicated (I felt scolded when I thought I could fill a cup of coffee from the pot sitting out). Coffee pods are available in the room, but it is not the same and lacks the same ambiance.

Charming old home complex with unique custom decor. The staff was friendly and they have customs to make you feel welcome as they show you around and check you in with a welcome drink. The breakfast is full with gourmet coffee and fresh pastries in addition to your choice of 3 dishes. There was a selection of teas always available and Keurig in your room with a sweet treat choice as well. The rooms were clean and uniquely decorated. There is a naturalized water feature in the garden where breakfast can be enjoyed weather permitting. Close to town and a great park for a woodland walk. More treats await when you return after dinner. Lots to enjoy here!

Clean, inviting, lots of good complementary items and opportunities!

The heater in the room did not have thermostat that we could find so it was hard keeping the room at a comfortable temperature. It felt like it was either too warm or too cold. Also, we were told that the bar would be open to certain times and it was not. If you’re going to state a time it can’t be changing constantly and not have coverage when you said it was going to, and now allow people to bring bottles of their own wine in. In my opinion, drop the liquor license and allow people to bring their own choice of drink.

Well located within walking distance of the shops and restaurants of Lenox. Very large and well-prepared breakfast with lots of choices. Friendly staff who were rapidly responsive.

The room we were first assigned to was in a separate building, at ground level and with both windows looking onto the main road about 20 feet away. It was thus very noisy with no comfortable way of looking away from the road. We asked for a room change and were told this room was assigned to us by Booking.com. They were reluctant to change but when we persisted, found another on the second floor of the same building. This was above the cars and better arranged so that the road did not dominate in the same way. We were, however, charged a $50 "room change fee". Also, despite it being the end of December, there were no blankets on the bed and we had to rummage around the room to find them.

From the minute I walked in the door I felt like I was back home as it was my second visit, first was with my husband for my birthday this time alone for a treat. I received a warm welcome with a great smile, help with my bag as I have a spinal problem then the offer of the yummiest mango peach homemade sangria that I enjoyed on the patio with a fresh baked very chocotatey brownie! My room was THE JENNIFER ROOM upstairs in the main building. I was disappointed that I wasn't sent to the carriage house where we stayed before but my room was soooo lovely and inviting and so well appointed with beautiful light streaming through the four windows but blacked out with great window coverings for morning darkness. Breakfast was wonderful! First I was greeted by the lovely manager with a delish cappuccino to bring up to my room then when I returned my adorable & professional waitress offered me the menu and served me the most amazing tomato, basil & crispy cheese topped fritatta served with arugula, fresh fruit & fresh baked warm blueberry cake along with another coffee! It was really lovely when Chef Roman visited tables greeting his guests! I lingered on the deck by the pond with frogs croaking as I finished my coffee & read. The shower was wonderful as were the bath products, the welcome bottle of wine & the super comfy bed. A camomile tea in bed at night was a nice treat. The room was meticulously spotless and the Houskeeper was lovely when I departed. It's impossible not to leave tips for the staff and I urger you do do so! At the front desk Chere' was sweet enough to bring my bag to the car and bid me a nice farewell. She too was absolutely lovely! The Cornell Inn is a REAL treat! Thank you Curt for creating such a real gem for us in Lenox! We will return again & again over the years! On the way out of town I stopped at your other property The Lake House for that gorgeous last view! Warm wishes and big thanks to all!

That I had to leave and could only stay one evening!

Our room was small , not the most comfortable bed I would ask for better room In future
