The breakfast staff, Sam and Jada, were excellent as was the food. We stayed two days and were asked, either the night before or at breakfast, what we would like to eat for the next day and what time we would like to be served. We could choose from a fairly wide choice of normal breakfast items - eggs cooked to order, bacon, toast, french toast, pancakes, etc. and they were prepared perfectly. There was a selection of fruit and orange juice also. The house and grounds are amazing. This was the estate of a wealthy business owner from the same town and was not built to be a bed and breakfast as some are. Be sure to walk around the property to see the fountain, the full-kitchen gazebo, and all of the flower areas. Hopefully it won't be cloudy and rainy for you as it was during both days we were there.

Since the house was not built to be a bed and breakfast, there are some quirky features to the home and some of the rooms.

This was my first Bed'n'Breakfast experience, ever, the place was very nice, clearly a home renovated to accommodate guests. We sat with 1 other couple for breakfast which was pleasant as they were kind. The room was clean, the breakfast was on point.

Carpeted bathrooms was a unique touch that I probably wouldn't recommend anyone do. It's slightly difficult to find the entrance if your gps doesn't catch the address as there are zero signs for the place.

The hospitality was phenomenal. It left the impression that I was visiting family. Both staff and owners make you feel very welcome. There is a small creek tucked away in the back of the property that you can sit down and relax. There is also a garden, perfect for those who love to take pictures. You’re close to many sites/ attractions. It’s certainly a one of a kind stay. My husband wants to go again soon.

The property was incredibly beautiful and the owners absolutely lovely. The breakfast was delicious. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The shower was fantastic. There was a nice workspace to set up my laptop and get some things done. I can't say enough good things about this place.

Home away from Home! A great escape! Breakfast is made with lots of LOVE! You MUST experience the French Toast! This is my second visit to Mill Creek. A hidden 💎 Gem in Winamac, Indiana.

This was my third visit. I love everything about Mill Creek Gardens. A home away from home. Luxury, elegance, and serenity bundled with old fashioned love. The hospitality is beyond exceptional.

I loved the bathroom and the little swans made out of washrags on the sink. It was beautiful. Every light in the room dims, the TV has Netflix and Hulu and all kinds of free ways to watch TV. The couch in the room was so comfortable I could have slept on it and the bed was super comfortable too. I love Mill Creek Gardens! The owners are super nice and showed us their Tesla too! And Pam gave us a tour of the whole place. Made us feel like family.

There is no smoking anywhere in the building, but I knew there wouldn't be. It would be awesome if the pool was in use for visitors and if the sauna could be used. Also I think a great way to get more people to come would be to have a movie night once a week or so in the downstairs theater. I would pay to watch action movies in those seats!
