Homewood Suites by Hilton Munster

Breakfast was excellent and I didn’t know about the Wednesday social evening, but a wonderful staff member told me upon my arrival…it was great! Also I would like to say that I appreciated the young lady on my check out as she took what I said concerning the carpet in elevator fraying and wrote it down. I let her know that I didn’t want to step on anyone’s toes, but from my experience all it takes is a few strands of carpet to make the elevator stop working and then you have bigger costs. Just cut the frayed edges until elevator is tiled.

I think everything was great and will definitely stay again.

Only thing I did not like was that I had to come downstairs to get our pizza from the door dasher. I mean this is not a hotel with many floors (4 to be exact) and the floors are not key access on the elevator. So why can't the dasher come to the 4th floor to drop the order when that's h=what I specified? That was ridiculous. Even when I stayed in Vegas at a 40 floor hotel, they brought the orders up.

Breakfast was really good my husband said (my kids and I had to leave before breakfast was being served on a weekend). Maybe there's a way to request early breakfast in the future since we pay for it?

We booked for 4 people and bedding was not provided for the sofa bed. we had to call the front desk. The request was fulfilled immediately, that was good.

Everything was great Perfect location, rooms were roomy and comfortable Bathroom and all in the room was clean. Sitting area in the lobby and on all floors were very nicely decorated. Staff was very polite. I didn't eat breakfast any mornings, but the eating area looked very nice.

There was not anything to dislike unless you want housekeeping services every day as there's not any unless you stay 5 days.

Loved full size refrigerator, dishwasher, and especially 2 burner stove. Room was modern, comfortable., and had granite counters in kitchenette and bathroom. The room was more than I expected. Truly a home away from home.

Although I had confirmation from them (Homewood Suites) and showed them all receipts and communications, , the Shift Manager was rude and argued about the price for 30 minutes. I checked in online and never received my digital code for the Room. I was told it was because the room was not ready. The person I spoke to originally helped me but tried charging $40 additionally claiming 2nd night SHOULD have been more. Only after mentioning that I'd contact Hilton headquarters did she back down. I'm disabled and professional and did not appreciate the stress and embarassment. Everyone else was wonderful.

It was very , very clean . Friendly, professional staff.

The only thing was I preferred a firmer mattress because I have back issues , but other than that . The place was great! Definitely will stay there again

The room, the quiet, the cleanliness, and the breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which improves any hotel stay.

Only complaint is that we did not have any kleenex in our room and it was unclear if dishes were sanitized, although they did appear clean.

The swimming pool was not available which all the families were disappointed as well as your Motel does not have enough towels

everything was great, breakfast was very good, staff was great and very friendly. will stay again on next visit up.

speed bumps getting in and out ! LOL

It was not set up in a very efficient way which made the traffic flow in the breakfast really slow. They need to put the coffee area in a separate spot.
