Hyatt Place Atlanta/Perimeter Center

We chose this for a trip to Dragon Con. It is a 2 minute walk to the Marta and about a 20 minute ride. Hotel is nice, beds are comfortable, breakfast was good and the neighborhood seemed nice. I would recommend for a budget friendly trip to Atlanta

The only complaint is that the rooms don't come with a microwave

Location, Location, Location!! It’s literally next to Perimeter Mall and a 2 min walk from the side entrance of the Dunwoody MARTA rail stop! The property itself has a pretty simple, layout, which is something I really appreciate these days! Plenty of signs and welcoming staff to help you get to your room or local hotspots in the area. The room is designed in a contemporary style, and the pictures do not do it justice - High ceilings, a very spacious bathroom and plenty of natural light! The continental breakfast wasn’t half bad either… I particularly enjoyed the waffles, turkey, sausage, and hard boiled eggs. I’ll also note that the ladies running the kitchen were extremely pleasant, and willing to answer questions about the food and make accommodations too!

My room wasn’t quite as clean as it could be. There was hair on the floor, and crumbs in the crevices of the office chair. I had planned to bring this to their attention, but went shopping instead and forgot all about it until writing this review. The gym facilities were spacious, but the two rowing machines that they had were missing batteries, and therefore did not work.

Staff was friendly, room and bathroom were very clean, breakfast was good, hotel is quiet and located between 30-40 minutes from the city (depending on traffic), right next to Perimeter Mall and lots of restaurants within walking distance

Parking... The parking garage was located across the street. I didn't like that there was no opening to exit directly at the crosswalk and make your way to the hotel. Each time you would have to walk all the way around the fenced/gated area to the cross walk. Other than that, everything else was great!

newer property that was clean and well maintained…all staff we encountered were friendly. free parking which is in a garage right across the street…great location directly next to a mall and restaurants and half a block from the Marta train

Bed and pillows are ultra soft which was a little hard on our backs…attempted to use the QR code for housekeeping on demand but each time I filled out the form it came back to an error…the shower door was a nice design but it kept rolling open and I had to put a washcloth there to keep it closed (room 421 seemed slanted because wall mirror was also crooked)

beautiful rooms I loved the fact that they didn’t have carpet it made me feel like the space was clean. the pillows and bed were very comfortable. I kind of wish they had a bathtub in my room but the shower was still great. I loved how you needed a key card to access any of the floors so not just any person could come walking around the hotel that really made me feel safe that everyone here has paid to be here.

there was no microwave in the room, it seemed like there was no real lounge area so if you wanted to come down to warm up your food you may be greeted with a area full of people.

Overall very nice experience. Super nice staff. Safe parking. Overall safe area. Close to the mall ;)

Breakfast was sub-par. No bread at around 9 in the morning. Disgusting eggs. Not much else to choose from. No Orange Juice. Selection overall could be improved. Please get rid of throw away dishes. I've just stayed at a Hyatt Place in LA where i had the best breakfast experience ever. Hospitality in the south is much better but for food and the quality and overall sustainability you guys need to look west.

The room was great -- very large. Everything was very clean. The front desk staff was very accommodating and responsive. Great fitness center. Great breakfast buffet. Free coffee and tea all day. Excellent location. Near the highway and walking distance to two malls that have everything you'll need.

Free parking is off-site. On-site parking costs $20 a day.

very clean ~ staff was helpful and very nice. didn’t eat breakfast but there were a lot of people enjoying it when we left. I suggest getting the hotel parking. it was cheap ($12 in Nov 2022) and well worth it ~ especially if the weather isn’t good or you will be getting back to hotel at night. also liked the safety precautions. to get to your floor using the elevators ~ you have to use your room key.

the lightning in the bathroom was bad. between the mirror’s backlighting and the straight above you light ~ it was hard to put on makeup and fix hair.

When I am traveling to Atlanta, I always stay at the Hyatt because of the proximity and excellent customer service from the staff

I also stay at this location but , I did not like the experience I had upon leaving. A staff member of whom I don’t know if she was new but she was very rude .
