Location was excellent, just a few steps from Duval Street. The complimentary breakfast consisted of pastries from a local bakery and they were so delicious that we had to go and purchase some for our trip back home. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. A non-negotiable for me when choosing a stay is bathroom conditions, and this place checked every box in cleanliness and overall conditions. The owner is the sweetest man, as soon as we checked in he made sure we had a map of the island with all of his recommendations varying from the best key lime pie store and restaurants to the best activities and beaches. We will definitely be choosing L'Habitation Guesthouse for our stay every time we come back to the keys.

The location, the cleanliness and the service at the hotel were brilliant 👏. At nightime the neighborhood and building was quiet (albeit we had the aircon running permanently) and we really enjoyed our stay at L'habitation and would consider booking again.

There was nothing I didn't like, maybe consider better furniture to eat breakfast at in future, as I like to sit up when I eat, but I'm sure the management will have considered that. That's not a complaint, it was a good breakfast each day, lots of choice and really good quality foods.

I'm just sorry it took me so long to give a review. I hadn't even thought about it until it just came up when I open booking.com today. I was more than pleased with every single part of this stay. I will say that we are ironically fortunate to be handicapped. Because parking was not an issue at all due to our placard. But if you are not deemed handicapped by the DMV with a placard. Parking is definitely something to discuss prior to booking. It's an entire another vacation to pay for it or it's a journey to get from your car to the property if you park at a discounted rate a lot. But like I said we did not have that problem. So with that said it's an awesome location a great setting staff is wonderful it's clean and very welcoming.

Nothing because the parking did scare me when we originally arrived until I figured out the laws with a handicap placard we don hanging from the rear view mirror of the car. As I said above if you don't have handicap placard parking is a b**** inexpensive.

This property is in a great location—close to everything. what made this stay special was the kindness and helpfulness of Ed, the manager. The breakfast was good with fresh pastries and excellent coffee. the bed and towels were luxurious. We had a king deluxe and the extra space was definitely worth the little extra we paid. There is a pretty spacious shared balcony area upstairs.

The breakfast begins at 8:30. Coffee a little earlier would have been nice. The bathroom was a bit small and had a broken tile that shifted and creaked when you enter the bathroom. The shower enclosure was spacious, though.

Location is super convenient. Despite being so close to Duval, it was relatively quiet at night. The beds were SUPER comfortable. we brought our own pillows (as expected, the ones provided were super soft for our taste). We had great sleep on those beds. The check in process was super easy and the property communicated well via Booking text and via email, since we checked in after Office closes at 6 PM. Thank you for providing info for free parking east of Simonton! It was a life saver since the Post Office parking is an absolute ripoff. And it was only 2 blocks away! Loved walking everywhere being so close!

Lighting in the common/living room area of our two-bedroom apartment is very dim. A suggestion to improve this to make the space friendlier at night.

The location can't be beat.

The room we were in was on the 2nd floor. We would have loved to stay on the first floor, but there were no rooms available. The first floor rooms looked fantastic. The 2nd floor was fine, and the twin beds were comfortable, but it would have been nice to have a small table by the small loveseat. Grant it, you visit Key West to walk around and explore and not sit in a hotel/guesthouse room. The staff was great and the room was fine, but if you can, I highly suggest trying to book one of the rooms on the 1st floor. We were able to peak in a couple rooms when they were being cleaned and they looked great. We're hoping we can book one of those rooms when we visit to Key West again.

The staff was very accommodating as we cam in via the ferry which arrived at Noon. Everything was clean and the beds were quite comfortable. Many places I have stayed at in Key West have a bit of a damp smell, but not here! Breakfast was a surprise, simple but nice and LOVED that they used Cuban Coffee Queen coffee.

There was no view from our room but that is definitely not important as I am not coming to Key West to enjoy the view from my room. The plus side of being at the back of the houses was that it was really quiet which was lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay, we were four friends traveling together. The location was great, its close to everything we wanted! And the staff was very friendly and nice, the check-in was very smooth even tho we arrived later in the afternoon. The breakfast was good as well (with two very happy vegetarians along).

The room was clean, a bit to clean, as an allergic person the smell of cleaning-material was too heavy (but we were out most hours so it was OK). Maybe the use of more allergic friendly chemicals or just less would be great.

The location was absolutely perfect! Around the corner from Duval and a short walk to Mallory Square. Lovely continental breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

Parking is not available, so if you have a car or rent some sort of vehicle (golf cart, scooter, etc), you’ll need to search around and probably pay for whatever you find. The location also doesn’t have a pool, if that’s something that’s important to you.

There are three distinct advantages to this booking. The first is the location. It is less than one block off of Duval Street, and within walking distance of pretty much everything you'll want to see or do. There's even a movie theater three doors down. The second advantage is that it's not a hotel, but more like a B&B with a pleasant twist. The twist is that there's a large, shaded balcony where you can enjoy your meals AND that they have free cocktails each afternoon (if you like Vodka and cranberry juice). Finally, this booking has the advantage of being adults only! Our kids were visiting grandparents, so it was so nice not to hear whining/crying during our stay.

Our only complaint (which may be unique to our room) was that the shower was pretty small. Perhaps when the house was built, people were skinnier, as the tub was very narrow!
