We enjoyed our stay at Brezzy Palms and plan on returning for a longer trip. The room had been recently renovated. It was very roomy. The mattresses were new and the great visco-type foam. The room had a full-size refrigerator and a very nice recliner. There was nice outside furniture. The beach area was very clean, close to the room, and inviting. The pool was also very nice. The best part was the helpful, friendly staff.

The hotel started a renovation over a year now , the rooms are fully remodeled very nice we loved that the apartment style unit had everything we needed as if we where back home loved the screen in porch. room was very clean, stayed in unit #109 over looking the pool and beach.

Water pressure in the shower was very poor also as stated they started renovation had a few days of extra construction noise to deal with, but not that bad. The one only thing we were not happy with and feel management can address with their staff, hotel has one of the best views in the keys. but for sum reasons they had boat trailers parked on the docks, old batteries, dirty rags, towels, garden hoses laying on the docks. just simple good house keeping principles not being followed. which affected our comfort level and view when enjoying the beach, simple fix though that owners and management can fix easy. just my two cents worth

I understand that seaweed can be an issues. But daily cleaning of the beach area should be done.

Great location, most of the staff was very friendly.

My room had a window air conditioner, it was very hot out, thankfully there was a large ceiling fan. The temp was ok, could have been a little cooler. I requested an early check in, when I got there the woman at the desk stated that I booked through a third party and that they did not recognize the request. Asked when the room would be ready, she did not know. I checked back every hour from noon until 3pm. She let me check in at 3pm. neighbors told me that nobody had been in that room for the last 3 days. Not sure why they did not want me checking in early??? That was my only problem with them.

The hotel was an older building but the owners have put a lot of effort into upgrades and such. Our room was very clean, new beds, and tastefully decorated. We were very pleased with the accommodations. It was conveniently located to good restaurants and water activities.

The bird next door that squawked sun up to sundown, fortunately we weren’t there during a lot of the day. Ice was only available for purchase at the front office by the 7 lb bag, which they were out of when we needed ice (it was the first week of lobster season, so I’m sure the demand was high for all the coolers).

Everyone was friendly but checkout us at 11 am make sure you are out if not the housekeeping Supervisor will yell at you to get out if not there will be an extra charge. My family had to stay in the room because the marina employee broke my trailer taillight and I had to play detective to prove that they broke it while moving g the trailers around. They finally did pay for my damage but still I had to go drive to pick it and install it, that mDe my morning delay and had to deal with the housekeeping attitude. But overall good stay.

Housekeeping Supervisor attitude and tone. Listen before using your authority tone, I was ready to checkout before finding out that they broke my property.

It was right on the water, the bungalow was clean and well equipped for everything we needed. Very comfortable and enjoyable bungalow.

The small "beach" wasn't really a beach as advertised. It was a tiny man made inlet which was in fact filled with rotting, stinking seaweed. There was nice soft sand and lots of chairs on the sand to sit and enjoy, but there was also a lot of boats obstructing the view. This would be more of a fishing type place rather than a beach vacation. We stayed for only one night so it was fine, but that beach isn't really a beach.

pull out bed not comfortable no coffee provided for coffeemaker or sold in office. (its not a keurig. bring filters and loose coffee grounds) can use restaurant and bar at amara next door. very convenient

great location. Beautiful waterfront view. love having a separate living room and kitchen with full sized fridge/freezer and stove/oven so we could eat breakfast and dinner. We had an updated unit (100) with new beds, sofa bed, and kitchen countertops. friendly and responsive staff. pool towels included and are checked out from office.

the tile floors were somewhat dirty and found a piece of glass on floor. recommend wearing shoes in room. We stayed in unit closest to road (100) and could hear road traffic at night. I slept through it though. also missing pot in kitchen to boil water if you wanted to cook pasta.

The property and room were far better than many of the recent reviews. It is definitely not a family type resort...not a resort in any form really. But it is a fantastic oceanfront motel. Room was relatively clean, smelled good/looked good, and was spacious enough for one person. My room sat on Overseas Hwy so there was some road noise, but is was drowned out partly by the A/C window unit that ran constantly.
