This hotel is a favorite place to stay and unwind in Groton. We visit Noank for our anniversary and we love staying in room 221 with the hot tub and king. It's priced right. Though it has a few drawbacks. The facility is old. While rooms are modern, the structure, door jambs, window frames, etc, all show it. Plus the entire hotel has a lovely ethnic cooking aroma. There is a tasty and economical Indian food restaurant in the hotel that's hard to miss. Many of the rooms are also connected to community housing programs. So not everyone you meet is a guest. The rooms are clean and decorated very well and the beds are so comfortable. Even the lounge chair is great to sink into after a spell in the jacuzzi tub. It's definitely a special place for special occasions.

The bar top in restaurant needs replacement. The restaurant needs to add an Indian sampler meal option for novices to explore flavors.

***** please read**** Don't let these other reviews stop you from staying. This is our second time here and we love it. For the price you really can not complain. check in was a breeze and informative ( there is a deposit required if you pay cash) a Indian restaurant next door with a lounge and management said if you show your key card you get a discount (we did not try) the hotel does need makeover but again what do you expect for the price I only smelled the smell of cigarettes once room nice and clean smelled fine we had room 120 (we had the king size bed) comes with microwave small coffee maker ice bucket iron and board mini fridge and one chair plenty of space for storage a desk plenty of outlets in the room including USB ports. Pool hours are 1pm - 930/10pm (the pool should be open early) the pool is on the bottom level the pool is 4ft deep the pool water is ok once you get in but definitely not heated but not freezing if that makes sense also the pool has two sliding doors on each side of the pool for relaxing outside in the summer time the jacuzzi is not working and because it was our second time coming (it wasn't working the first time either) we asked and was told there will be no more jacuzzi. There is breakfast in the bottom floor same floor as the pool they have cereal, breakfast pastries, bread (bagels English muffins and wheat and white bread), fruits, coffee juice and there was eggs and sausage. There is a Walmart across the street from the hotel along with a five guys burger place Foxwoods is 20 mins away along with other things in the area My wife and I have came here twice so far and it's really not bad if your just looking to get away from the for the weekend and get out of the city in our cause our state which is Massachusetts

it was comfortable but rooms were small, and the spa bath wasn't what I thought it was supposed to be I had a regular room instead it looked like to me. the pool i thought was a little bigger, but it wasn't okay. but it was good enough if your not looking for a real swim the hot tub was nice though right temperature, but everyone was in it so couldn't' really enjoy the relaxation of it otherwise it was good

in the hallaway it had like an odor but it was okay meaning it was bareable

I loved my room! It was so spacious and that shower felt great! The pool was fun to swim in and refreshing! But they had to fix the temperature as the first two nights we stayed there the water was ice cold but on Thursday it was fixed and we were able to enjoy the pool.

The Jacuzzi still isn't fixed. I might have to save up for a suite so I could feel jets to soothe my joints. Maybe someday it will get fixed I don't know but they had caution tape on it this time and the last night I slept there I dreamt the manager was overseeing the Jacuzzi getting fixed and saying don't forget that part right there how's that one jet?

Everything was fine except when you get there there’s a note that there’s no continental breakfast it’s just grab and go. The grab and go we could have done without. We had planned on going into the town for breakfast and sightseeing anyway so it really didn’t affect us. I’m only mentioning this because I think that they should update their website in case this info is important to some. The place was clean and the staff was nice though not accommodating I wanted to check in a little earlier just half an hour and they claim the room wasn’t ready. I just waited in my car until 3. The restaurant is on site and it’s Indian cuisine but was fine cause I like Indian food. Overall the stay was ok. I would stay there again.

I love the Ramada it's super comfortable and the Jacuzzi felt wonderful! The staff are helpful as well and they are very friendly and pleasant! Everytime I stay at the Ramada I always feel like I'm on vacation and I love that there's resteraunts and shopping nearby

I wish the pool was warmer it wasn't ice cold but I would have liked the pool water to feel like warm bath water with the weather cooling down

Walking up to this hotel you get a good feeling it's clean on the outside no spiders hanging from the ceiling outside real clean top notch

This question is just a suggestion of my own . There was not many thing that I didn't like, one thing I may say is the pool could be a little bit bigger if there was a full house at this location. But the pool was clean the area around the pool was clean it's indoor there's not really too much I can say bad.

There wasn’t any breakfast served. It was a brown bag snack. That needs to change asap. But the location was great.

The only problem I had was there was no breakfast offered to the guest except for a brown bag breakfast. I know during the pandemic it wasn’t a good idea to have the cafeteria open to the public but since we’re heading back to safer times the hotel really needs to reopen the breakfast bar. This is the only downfall to the hotel. I had to spend money elsewhere to eat. I still give the hotel a 10 rating because I felt really comfortable there.

Large room, microwave, nice sized fridge plenty of towels for our two night stay and adjustable shower head with plenty of hot water. Glad we gave a 2nd chance as a few years ago when we stayed there were several issues.

TV signal could be improved but that was about it.
