Studio 6 Grand Junction, CO

Wow. The room was clean and new, with lots of handy touches that were convenient and an efficient use of space, and contrary to the booking.com listing, there was a microwave, and a full-sized fridge. The check-in was also easy and very friendly. I honestly wasn't expecting much for the price; it was a last-minute decision to avoid driving over the mountains through a stormy winter's night. But it turned out to be the best motel I've stayed in this year, including rooms that cost twice as much.

Only thing about the room that could be improved was the bath; it was on the shallow side. The wifi wasn't the fastest, either, but it was consistent and adequate for streaming.

Really low toilet, like it was designed for a child. While it did have a seat in the shower, there's no way someone with a mobility disability would be able to step into it. The bed was way too large for the room, making it difficult to walk around, and if someone was using a wheelchair there's no way they'd be able to maneuver in the space.

This was a great value. While very simple and certainly in no way fancy, the rooms have been completely redone and they were very comfortable, clean, and felt safe. The General Manager, Sara, seemed to take her role very seriously and was committed to giving us a great experience. Definitely recommend if you are look for somewhere simple and comfortable at a great value.

Exterior and common areas still needed some work and refreshing.

good rooms, new. friendly staff. convenient location not far from highway. air conditioner was older but good at creating white noise.

no complaints. would stay again. if it was hotter outside the air condition may have struggled to keep room cold enough, but didn’t have any issues during my stay.

Quick check in bit she didnt even ask if I had pets. I could have skipped the pet fee. Beds were not bad. Nice size fridge.

Claustrophobic parking lot. Had to pull out of the space for my passenger to get in. Wasnt the cleanest room I have been in. There was a pet stain by the door from urine having dried there without being cleaned up so I question if the floor is being mopped between guests.

The recently updated rooms were stylish, comfy, and efficient. The staff were very down-to-earth, friendly, and showed compassion in a difficult situation. If I am in need of lodging in Grand Junction, I will choose this hotel again. It's not fancy, but it's homey and welcoming, which is what I loved best! This was a bright spot in an otherwise crappy day.

It was clean and comfy. The fridge was bigger and had a freezer too. It was very nice

The only thing I didn't like was the parking. I have a broken leg and had to walk farther than I liked to get to our room

Wi-Fi I did not use the Wi-Fi, so I can't write that but everything else was nothing was bad

Easy access to the highway, large clean rooms! I wasn't expecting an extended stay room with a large refrigerator, microwave, it was like a mini apartment! Convenient to many restaurants. Exceeded my expectations!

No breakfast! They did have coffee though.

Nice room, a little dinged up from age, but comfortable and fully equipped - big fridge and freezer, coffee maker, microwave, extra sink, plenty of counter space. Staff friendly and very helpful. Undergoing renovations so grounds/ parking lots a little messy and congested but no problems with that. Convenient location close to I-40. Good value.
