Visalia Marriott at the Convention Center

This hotel was very nice, clean and the location was very convenient near the freeway. We wanted to stay at a comfortable place near Sequoia National Park and it was perfect. The staff was very nice and available to us when we needed things. They came very quickly and we didn't have to wait long for extra towels or blankets during our stay.

The room was understocked. I had to request extra towls and toilet paper. The bathroom only had 2 towels for a family of 3. The pull out couch didn't come with sheets or a blanket so I had to call at night to request them. I reccomend requesting before staying here.

Very friendly staff that allowed me to check in early and the room was extremely comfortable & clean. My friends & I got ready for our night out there and the rooms lighting, mirrors & amenities were perfect for a fun night/stay.

Pictures of the suite made it appear as if the bed was in a separate room/area as the sofa bed/sitting area…that is what I was looking for & why I booked with Marriott. They were not separated, slightly disappointed with lack of privacy.

We extended our stay for 3 free of charge. Thanks to the beautiful front desk staff who made it possible

There was an overnight karaoke party right beside our room. They were so loud that we didn’t sleep well. In addition, our room smells like someone smoked in the room before we got in.

On Friday we party in the bar area- sold out the bar. The next day a sercurity guard told us we can not hang out there because we left a mess the night before. All the "mess" was beer bottles and drink glasses. I didn't know we had to clean up. There was no trash can around us. He was rude. They didn't complain when we were spending money

Great location. I think a lot of merchants have used Covid as an excuse for cutting back on personnel and amenities. Having to pay for a room, then having to pay for parking, then having to pay for wifi, then having to pay for decent coffee and a simple muffin made me feel taken advantage of. I will say your front deskpeople were very helpful and friendly.

Give away wrapped muffins and brewed coffee available in the lobby would have been nice. Being shuffled off to Starbucks felt pretty cold and reeked of taking advantage of the situation. Would havebeen nicer to have small microwave in my room rather than one sitting inthe hallway next to a broken ice machine.

Very clean and comfortable

1) No safe in the room 2) The front desk was tough to reach from room phone. Had to call them via outside line - multiple times - to get to talk to front desk to ask for basic stuff like towels, coffee etc. The staff was polite and responsive though, once we connected.

The location was perfect for me and my family who live in Visalia. The renovation of the hotel was amazing. The staff were so helpful with my many questions and very polite at all times. The dinner, however, wasn't cool. Not the food, that was delicious, it was the presentation in containers and plastic dinner ware, but understandable why. I will make a effort to stay there again very soon.

Containers for food when we ordered our dinners; Pizza came out in a box and we were not expecting that! Nothing else. All was grand.

The bathroom is worn making it difficult to appear clean Some of the light fixtures had visibly accumulated dust

It was safe and secure. The rooms were updated and clean diddnt have any bad odors in halls.. the lobby was beautiful

I diddnt like that the Starbucks Frappuccino machine was down the whole entire time... was given voucher for breakfast but not told where it was or what it would be parking is not good soo tight together and cant get a spot... when i reserved my 2 rooms it stated that both came with microwave refrigerator and coffee maker but both had fridge only one room had coffee and they both diddnt have a microwave u were forced to use a public one down hall and with the pandemic going on that was not safe at all

My daughter and son got married and I asked them to do something special and they put rose petals dessert plate and a bottle of wine with two flutes so there night would be something they would remember for the rest of their life I was very impressed when my daughter sent me the video and the still pictures I believe they went Above and beyond what they do

I believe the restaurant is A little pricey
