Modernized decor was nice to see compared to average dated rooms in other hotels. Using a room code compared to a key that can be easily lost when in the snow. Roku tv available so you can login and use your streaming services. Plenty of sink space to store your toiletries

Great location and cute lodging!

Complicated check-in process and too much involvement. The host demanded a 25 minute phone call reading, almost word for word, exactly what's written in the listing. Then there were texts and texts and texts to confirm check in and check out and on top of that we could not get in and had to spend another 20 minutes out in the cold waiting for the issue to be fixed (there's no one on site, sadly). No one has time for that, and honestly, your ridiculous process is not my priority as I'm trying to travel. Simplify your check in process and I'd give you full ratings.

Great value for money, old hotel, renovated, rooms are modern and super clean. My parent's room had a fireplace, which made them very happy!

With the facility being a renovated older hotel, I assumed the noise level once the rooms filled would be a little loud. However, the hotel did get busier, either the guests were super considerate, or the rooms have better soundproofing than I assumed, regardless of noise levels were fine. The bathrooms are great, however, to the owners, where the shower tile meets the shower base insert should have 100% silicon, looks like it has grout, this will fail over time and cause you some issues, just an FYI!

very welcoming, and comfortable stay overall. This our second stay here and it definitely wasn’t a let down. comfortable beds, and also Netflix, Hulu, Disney plus , Etc. built right into the TV which is a huge plus in my book. overall a Great stay here.

the only issue was having a clogged bathtub while showering, but it went down minutes after showering. which wasn’t a major issue. I did bring up the issue with staff, and they were open to fix it . if the issue wasn’t resolved. but. luckily it was resolved. other than that no major issues at all . thank you.

The room was SO NICE. The updates done were nice looking and done well. The color scheme and fixtures were modern and upscale. Everything I needed was in the room, from staples like hair dryer to things I wouldn’t have thought up but ended up needing and using like paper plates and plastic cutlery and a wine opener, so thoughtful. The location was also perfect, super close to The Village but just far away enough to be quiet and peaceful. We also loved that the heater for the room was a gas fireplace, so cozy and charming!

Walls were on the thin side but being thoughtful as they are, earplugs were provided—and used haha.

While on the road we booked a room last minute and checked in 1 hour later. The check-in process was easy and with clear instructions. Good communication via text/ email and also phone. Our room was on the second floor and was clean, comfortable, modern and well decorated/ designed. The fire place was cozy. Great value + location! We’d definitely stay here again.

I thought the mattress was a little bit hard although my husband thought it was comfortable. We personally do not like polyester sheets and prefer cotton sheets. Otherwise great and convenient hotel!

The hotel was in touch via text before, during and after our stay, and they sent us a code to get into the room which made check in and out easy. There was a power outage in the area during our stay, but luckily it was in the afternoon so it wasn't Too bad as my family was out skiing. Instead of Netflix, I read my book. We had the room w 2 Q beds which was good for our family of 2 adults and 2 teens for a short stay. There isn't a ton of space in the room and the bathroom is tiny. But it was really nice to have the little kitchenette with sink, microwave and mini fridge. I also like having the bathroom sink separate from the toilet/shower so that multiple people can get ready at once. Location was good, short drive or about 10 min walk to Heavenly Village/casinos. Overall we had a good stay, and I would recommend the Jeffrey.

Parking lot is pretty small, when we came back from dinner there was only 1 spot left.

The value for the room is great, easy contactless check-in and check-out. The best part is the location for us! We visit Tahoe for the American Classic Golf Tournament, and this is walking distance from the course and surrounding casinos.

The only negative I can say, is the bathroom towels are a tad small. Note to self, to bring my own towel. But really this isn't a big deal. Another thing to note, is there isn't a pool. So be prepared to sit inside your nice AC room, or walk to Lakeside Beach.

Clean, comfortable, cozy! Nicely decorated! Done very well! TV was programmable so you could watch Netflix, and other streaming services! Comfortable bed and the fireplace kept the room comfortably warm, when necessary. Great shower! The room was nearly perfect! Just a short walk to the center of the entertainment center!

The only thing to get used to was communicating via text/email to staff, but wasn’t too terribly difficult. My only wish is that there was a bench at the foot of the bed to sit down to put your shoes on, or rest a minute!

We liked that The Jeffrey Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, but still a short walking distance close enough to several restaurants on Hwy 50 near Heavenly Village. We stayed a week, so we were glad there was plenty of dresser and nightstand drawers, closet and counter space. There was also ample space between the bed and dresser so it didn't feel cramped. The kitchenette had a microwave, refrigerator and toaster, and also shelf space for our dry food---we were glad to be able to make one or more meals there each day. Although it's a contactless check-in, when we requested extra towels and pillows and mid-week cleaning they were very responsive whether by chat or phone or in-person. Staff were very friendly and professional. Pre, post and during-our-staty communication from the hotel was excellent.

Not their fault, but we wished we had (asked for) a room on the first floor. We were staying a week so we had a cooler, suitcases, etc. My knees aren't great so I would have preferred not having to carry our stuff up and down the stairs. There is no elevator. It was our first time there, so we didn't know the layout and we didn't think to ask. The hotel and/or Booking.com should ask prospective guests if they have a preference, even if it can't be guaranteed.
