The price was very reasonable. Although we patronized none, there were many interesting businesses close by. We only needed a bed for the night, and that's all we expected. We were not disappointed. We didn't use it, but an elevator was available.

I'm not sure what kind of vehicles they expect to be parking in their lot, but it was almost impossible for us to get out of our vehicle once parked. And, we have only a midsize. Would make good motorcycle parking spaces, though.

Perfect location - it's a famous Lombard street! A lot of public transport routes nearby, close enough to piers, easy to get here from Salesforce Transit Center (bus station). Responsive stuff, comfortable bed, microwave and fridge inside the room. No problem to store luggage before check in. There is an elevator to easily bring heavy luggage to upper levels. Wi-Fi is fast enough. Both inside and outside everything looks like in the movies.

Due to medical appointments once a month in SF my husband and I are very content with this facility We are so pleased with the staff Their kindness and efficiency never fails EVERY time We are not particular about fancy We are content with not fancy It absolutely meets our needs and expectations

Hotel was better than expected. Ofcourse its a motel but we arrived at Midnight and got someone to help us out quick and friendly.elevator is rather small with luggage but at least there. We had a big nice bed and a minifridge to help us out for some cold drinks whenever we felt like it. Bathroom was fine. Location was perfect for us with public transport very close and if you feel like it, pier 39 van be walked

There were some open spaces around the door and the bathroom is slightly outdated but worked fine. Expect simple and you will get all you need

Cute clean and worth it with great rates I wish hotel makeover could help them out with affordable room updates and amenities like microwave coffee maker and ways to secure your door while sleeping or away but just the touristy amenities and toiletries like hand soaps lotions in case visitors forget those things as home. Other wise rates are awesome and rooms are decent .

Locks to secure doors at night are either broke or half missing

I appreciate the night manager ! Entire staff had my had me processed in & leaving my room in probably 6-10 mins and immediately offered his assistance my my unfamiliarity with the tv controller. Overall quiet being on ground floor and heater operated just fine blowing warm air on cycle. I also like the Marina district and the Surf property looked clean and well maintained . Thanks much

We love the fact that this motel offers us most of our most important needs Free parking Fridge/microwave Gives us options to eat in if not wanting to go out Bus stop in front Which takes us easily wherever we want to go Neighborhood feels very safe Lots of restaurants within walking distance Staff have been very kind and accommodating We are not about staying in fancy accommodations Prefer to spend our money on outings

Have been referred to UCSF medical facilities once a month We have found this motel meets all our needs beautifully Even though I generally only need to stay 2 days for doctor appointments We are able to stay a full week and make a nice vacation of trips As motel is affordable, close to bus, free parking,and nice staff We prefer to spend our money on outings rather than fancy accommodations The surf meets all our needs

Good location that was close to many famous atractions.room was ok.perfect if you only looking for a place to sleep while exploring the city during the day

The doors were difficult to open.had to swipe the card many times to get in and walls are thin so you can hear noises from other rooms

There are plenty of restaurants around this location. I love the parking spaces (although not guaranteed). The staff was very friendly. New cameras around the premises.

It's San Francisco, so don't expect quiet anywhere in the city. The towels they provide are very thin and small and you do have to track someone down for clean towels in exchange for dirty ones. The rooms are a little outdated and need some work; one had a broken shower curtin and no working vent or screen on the window. One room had a very old refrigerator and a flickering bathroom light, and our 3rd room smelled like jalapeños? But if you're going to be out most of the day, this place is great to sleep and door dash some treats. We took some lysol and clorox wipes for our own peace of mind :)
