The price was much less than surrounding hotels. Loew's across the street was 3x the price. We wanted something very close to the beach. The staff was excellent!! Very friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping was great too. The room was very clean and updated, mattress was firm, and shower was large and modern. Coffee available downstairs, but they give you a small coffee maker in the room. It was perfect for what we wanted.
You hear the sirens, motorcycles, and loud cars on Ocean Ave at night, but so do the people paying 3x what you are, and there's nothing you can do about it. Appreciate being so close to the beach and pier.

We stayed in a 2 room suite which is really hard to find! The beach decor was so warm and welcoming! The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable! The staff was friendly and accommodating! This hotel is is within walking distance to the pier and beach! From the balcony you can see the ocean and the night life!
The parking is very tight and you have to pay an additional $33 for it! On the upside, they let me leave my car 2 hrs. before check in and 3 hrs. after check out. The staff is great and very accommodating. I would recommend paying for the parking, so you can go and come as you please! It is limited, so reserve a spot when you make your reservation!

The car park is a little small but there is no scope to change this. This doesn’t in any way detract from the overall experience though.

Housekeeping seemed to have missed some areas and the bathroom is in need of an upgrade or at least repair.

Great value for the beach location. Walking distance to the pier, great restaurants, activities on the boardwalk. I stayed in a king room on the top floor and the bed was very comfortable The hotel has been upgraded with beautiful bathroom, block out curtains and screen tvs. Easy check-in and affordable parking onsite. Ask for a room near the check in desk if you’re a light sleeper or bring your ear plugs to cancel any loud motor bikes. I would stay here again.

Beautiful small hotel with a very nice retro beach vibe. The employees/owners were absolutely awesome - very friendly and assisted perfectly with every question we had. They even accepted our lost luggage delivered by the airline in the middle of the night (we were unaware of the late delivery) and saved our following vacation day by doing so. Amazing customer service here and so welcoming. The apartment was equipped nicely, clean and sufficiently spacious for our group of 4 (2 bedroom apartment). The location is great, right at the Santa Monica pier and surrounded by plenty of options for food, bars, stores, etc.
If anything, the apartments and furniture might be a bit old-fashioned, however, I thought it perfectly complimented the general vibe of the area. I didn't mind it.

The location, service, and clean rooms made the stay very enjoyable! The best tip is to reserve parking before you go!!! The lot was very tight and small! Since I called and reserved parking, we got a designated garage.

Very close to the beach and several restaurants so there wasn't much thought as to what to do and eat. The room was spacious and clean, coming from being a hotel engineer the room was honestly very well maintained. My darling also agreed that the room and location were superb. Also, she mentioned that the bed was comfy.
Honestly, the singular complaint that I can muster up was that one of four lightbulbs in the bathroom was dead but the other three worked as it lit up the bathroom well regardless.

The location was really nice for eateries and near the beach and pier. The staff was very helpful. If you want a place that's right in the heart of the action, it's a good location.
It was very noisy. I played music on my bluetooth speaker. Plus, used ear plugs all night to cut off the noise.The mattress wasn't very comfortable. No tissues but otherwise good supplies.
