loved the style and the location is perfect to get around, close to lots of food places! staff are lovely, food at h cafe is very delicious and an option to park your car securely right behind the hotel is a big plus as well!

the only negative was that there’s no sound proofing at all. if anyone walks in the hallway outside your room, it literally feels like they are inside your room. every step in the rooms above you is heard and every car noise outside feels like the windows are wide open.

The hot water would not work , and the bathroom could use maybe another type of design, you can see everything, the doors could use and extra lock so you feel safer as most hotels do but none of this would stop me from staying here everytime i visit california

We needed to stay for 6 or 7 nights, and the location was very attractive, as Korea Town is in between Hollywood, Down Town. So if you plan to visit the Hollywood walk of fame, Griffin observatory, or just go to some clubs, the area is perfect. You will also find some Taco Trucks around on the streets in the evening, highly recommend finding El Jefe guy, he is just two blocks down the street. The rooms are not very big, but comfortable, AC and TV. The bathrooms were clean and the housekeeping was great. Y You can also rent Lime scooters to zip around, to reach the metro line for example. But I would not recommend using it, not the best or safe experience. There is a laundry across the road, they also have vending machines with bottles of water and snacks. You can also buy 1 gallon per 25 cents, in the parking lot of laundry place. One thing that was odd is the cafe downstairs, first of all you need to scan the QR code to order, no other options. The cafe is closing in the afternoon, and during the weekend it's full with locals, so you might need to wait 40min-1h. Overall the stay was very pleasant!

The cafe, in rest everything was good. No complains.

The room was incredibly clean, and I e always preferred hardwood or tiles floors over rugs since it's typically easier to maintain a higher level of cleanliness. It was in the middle of an area with lots of food, and the beds were incredibly comfortable.

The only issue I had was the TV in my room was not working, or there was an issue with being able to watch it comfortably. It's not a big issue, just more of an additional convenience, but the staff did what they could and assured me I was not missing something.

Second time staying. We love the charm it the hotel. The vibes and style are very cool. The cost is super affordable and easy checkin. The restaurant is delicious!

The menu at restaurant is annoying- you have to order from your phone. BUT the staff is so so so amazing and will help you if you can’t figure it out. The bed was super uncomfortable. Even though it was out second time staying there. The first time was 10/10. This time the bed was 5/10. I could hear the neighbors all night walking around outside my room door. The tv was broken. The bathroom had hanging LED lights. And the full length mirror is one from like, Walmart that’s tiny and leaning on a random wall. But, with all that said; I’d still stay there again!

We had a very nice stay here. Very modern and hip. The rooms are minimalist but had everything we needed. Great bath products, especially the lotion. Our bed was really comfy. We got a drink at the bar one night. Delicious cocktails and the bartender was really nice. Too bad more people don't hang out there. It's a nice hotel bar.

Our room was facing the street so the noise was a bit elevated. I could also hear everything that went on in the hallway. No biggie for us, but for others who like noise free accomodations, you will need to request a room that meets your needs. No fridge in the room.

very very cool aesthetic! it looks like you could do a Photoshoot in every corner of the lobby. the room is super quaint and cool. love the brick walls and lighting!

the parking wasn’t free as the booking site had stated, I was also told it was 34$ for parking and it ended up being 34$ per day, so that was a surprise charge. the shower water run into where the toilet is located, the towels help to soak up the water but it does get quite wet in the bathroom after a shower. the bathroom doors are also frosted. so you can see the silhouette of the person sitting on the toilet if you’re seated outside the bathroom. there’s only a small ottoman to sit on which was totally ok for us, but may not be for others.

it would have been nice if there were little things like a mini-fridge (for leftovers, cold drinks) an iron or steamer, and hair dryer...

Front desk was very accomodating and friendly! Our room was clean and very well kept. I also love the digital do not disturb sign and the room aesthetic vibes! Parking on site costs $34 but had it for free. Fortunately it was already included in our reservation.

One of the side lamps and usb port aren’t working. We love the bathroom design but the half wall glass on the shower makes the water gets literally everywhere. The room isn’t soundproof, we can hear the person upstairs walking at night.
