We had a great time at socal camping. We are so happy that we made our own experience and did not allow the very negative reviews affect our decision to choose this location. It was difficult based on the reviews to put our faith in it, but we are so glad we did. Part of my motivation to go for it was that the reviews left kind of felt superficial, the complaints that were given didn't really reflect the whole point of camping and being out in the elements. I was prepared to lose the comforts of home for our camping experience. The area is beautiful, the cabin site is as described in the picture, and descriptions. Carrie, Minnie, and Timmy were awesome, nice, down to earth people. They helped make our stay great and were very helpful and accommodating. The river is gorgeous. The site sits on the edge of the river and is a great location. Carrie rented us some tubes and me and my Lil girl went Down the river in them.. it was a blast. They have trails with built in steps to the mountain side that lead you down to the river for swimming in a sandy beach area, very nice. Can't wait to get back one day. Thank you Socal Camping for providing us city folk a great experience!

Being by the river was a truly peaceful and rejuvenating experience, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The serene ambiance allowed for moments of quiet reflection and relaxation, surrounded by the sounds of nature. The area was impeccably maintained, and I was particularly impressed with how clean everything was, including the bathrooms, which were consistently kept tidy and well-stocked. I especially enjoyed the outdoor showers; they offered a unique sense of privacy and tranquility, all while enjoying the luxury of running hot water. The staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any request or provide local recommendations. Their warm hospitality added to the overall positive experience, making my getaway even more enjoyable.

I have a small suggestion that might make things even cozier! Adding a net at the door could be a great way to keep bugs and little critters out since it’s still a tent. I ended up using a blanket to cover the door and a towel for the bottom, but I think a simple net with magnets would do wonders. Just a thought!

We love the place where we stayed at. Host Carrie was really helpful in providing us the best view we requested which is really by the river. She’s also accomodating when we had questions and she felt sorry and gave us voucher due to no electricity/power because the main power line had some issues.

The gps they provided in the app doesn’t match where the exact location is. We got lost and luckily the guy from the house where the gps took us knew where the SoCal Camp is and guided us with direction. Its so hard to find it especially when you’re driving at night. Their sign is also not visible. There’s also no electricity/power in the camp. They have solar lights which is somewhat helpful.

It was amazing! Super cute! Perfect for the camping experience with a side of comfort. The bathrooms and showers were super clean and the outdoor showers are completely magical! I'll definitely be coming back!

A little on the expensive side and the king bed was a bit hard. Woke up really sore but my 2 kids woke up feeling great! They said the twin beds were comfy!

The tents and bathroom were clean, and the overall experience was great! They had everything we needed. Toilets, running water, hot showers, fire pits, and wifi

Two out of the 5 tents we rented did not have power. The lights at night too bright, one kept blinking all night, which was disturbing our sleep.

The tent cabins are great! The bed was king size, extra pillows and comfy. They do provide fans, and heaters in some cabins. No complimentary breakfast, but they do provide coffee/ tea. Nice lounge area to relax. Cornhole area for the win! Fully stocked bathrooms. The showers are open top so amazing shower with great view of sky. They do provide plenty towels. If you love nature with a little glam, this is Great!

You know, it's like camping, but without all the hassle of packing all that gear. The bed was comfy, but I'd suggest bringing an extra blanket 'cause the one they provide is a bit thin. The bathrooms were clean, and the camp host is right there if you need anything.

There is no place to prepare food.

Great location, right in front of river, love that it has showers with warm water and running restrooms. Great spot if you need to get away from the busy city life and get some much needed rest away from it all.

It is a great place to get away from the city life. Surrounded by nature and beautiful sceneries. The camp has the convenience of showers and toilets, as well as a coffee station. We had a wonderful experience staying there. Thank you!
