The Raford Inn0

The Raford Inn was an absolute treat. It is an old Victorian home turned into an inn located on a hill overlooking beautiful vineyards. There is a wonderful porch that wraps around the front of the inn with comfy chairs that is a gorgeous place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day. The owners, Dane and Rita serve local wine (Mohsshin Vineyard) at the end of each afternoon and guests gather to mingle and socialize with each other and with them as well. They are a delightful couple who were fun to talk to and they clearly take pride in their inn and in growing local produce and grapes. A tour of their farm and gardens is offered, but we weren't able to take advantage of it due to the timing of our stay. Their gardens are lovely and full of beautiful flowers and hummingbirds abound. We were greeted by a great blue heron on the front porch when we arrived. Rita said she'd never seen one before, but this heron was amazing - a real serendipity. Our room was very nice and well-appointed with a refrigerator, a comfortable bed, and lots of special touches like wine glasses and a corkscrew. I will warn you that there is no tv, so if that's important you would not be happy. A delicious hot breakfast served at 9 a.m. was brought to our room each morning due to COVID restrictions. The first morning was a veggie quiche and sausages with fresh fruit and homemade biscuits. The second morning we were served a banana blueberry dutch baby with sausage and fresh fruit. Good coffee is served on the porch each morning at 8 a.m. but if you need it earlier, they will bring a pot to your room. (We didn't.) This was one of the nicest B & B's we've ever stayed at. I can't say enough good things about the Raford Inn. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area.

Loved sitting on the porch surrounded by vineyards and watching hummingbirds, beautiful setting. Comfy B&B with vintage wallpaper and quilts, felt like staying in grandmother’s home. Sweet garden and paths for strolling. Lovely breakfast with eggs, scones, and fresh fruit.

Breakfast was unique and tasty, served right on time, and had variety. Often the warm food was rather cold, but that might have been due to its delivery uncovered, however it came right to our room which was nice (covid procedure)

The hot tub was cold, so we weren't able to enjoy it. Truthfully, the bed was too soft, so I didn't sleep well

The food was very good and we enjoyed breakfast with our friends on their patio. We were in the Rosemary room in the back, while it was a bit small we enjoyed not needing to run the AC and left the door open while we were in the room.

The wifi was week and went in and out quite often.

Breakfast was fine as was the wine and cheese in late afternoon. The owners Rita and Dane and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

It was an extremely hot evening and we heard air conditioners on all night. The bathroom is fairly small. Of course this inn has been remodeled but is very old dating from 1880.

The breakfast was wonderful, delicious and varied. Rita has a talent for cooking wonderful meals. Loved the surroundings and really appreciated the history during the tour we had of their little winery and vineyard. We loved the peacefulness of the inn and the way we were invited with other guests for cheese, snacks and wine on the porch every evening.

The porch is tough to beat! Lovely location if you have a car. Beautiful historic building & grounds.

We really miss the wonderful cooked breakfast they used to do. It seems B&B’s have abandoned the good breakfasts due to covid, which I understand, but it’s definitely not the same experience. 😔

The accommodations were lovely. Absolutely beautiful! our breakfast was delicious! The staff was warm and welcoming. We will definitely return to this serene place.

Great location , great view over wineries, and great Victorian historic building and bedroom decor. Very peaceful and calm location. Owners and staff are friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was wonderful! The location the birds the vineyards made it so peaceful!

Could of had RV in room ?Dane and Rita were as friendly as you wanted them to be- they told us the history of the farm.
