Loved our room and the facilities. Dinner took a little longer than expected and it didn't appear to be that busy, but the quality of food was excellent.

I didn't like it when the grounds manager came up and asked his employees why they weren't finished yet with what appeared to be an underground plumbing leak. He was rude to them and they had been working hard for two days in over 115 degrees heat. I always believe in positive reinforcement. For example, how's its coming along guys. You need anything so we can get this finished up. Keep up the good work. It just gets more out of your employees. Apologies but I'm a Life Coach and Trauma Counselor. I just don't appreciate stern management, especially in front of guests. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Smaller pool near the apartments (we were in 2010), it was a lovely setting with great amenities & even though the bar was closed we ordered form the house phone services & F&B arrived super promptly. Fitness center was excellent & super well equipped, even though we missed a rowing machine!

While we really appreciated the fast turnaround of housekeeping to access our room ahead of official check in time, what was a little bit of negative edge was the fact that the edges of the carpet needed a good old vacuum - hopefully the feedback means super clean carpets!

The location was great and the upgrade was perfect for my birthday. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Food in the restaurant was great

We didn't like that they only provided one comfy leather chair for sitting in front of the fireplace and couldn't find a second one for me. So my wife enjoyed the chair while I used a dining room kitchen chair. Also they provided a nice small kitchen idea with a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in a great counter area, only the sink for clean up there only had cold water plumbed in to it and no hot. So for us to do dishes we had to bring hot water in from the bathroom in the ice bucket to fill the sink. Also they need to provide some dish soap.

The room was spacious even with the dated furniture, and the facilities were very nice. The shower was heaven! My son loved the pool! I didn't get the breakfast. The patio with chairs and tables was a great touch. I loved the window that is on the room door. Very close to many stores, shops and restaurants even with the 4 restaurants onsite.

The wet bar faucet had a lot of calcium around the rim, so I was afraid to drink it, the cabinets were a bit dated. Restaurant onsite was a bit pricey for one night.

The property was absolutely beautiful and so well maintained! We had a room with two queen beds, and we had an upstairs with a balcony and a downstairs with a patio. The downstairs also had a gas fireplace. It felt like we were staying in a two-story condo. There were bathrooms on each floor. I definitely want to go back and take my whole family. It was just my daughter and I for this trip. The staff is so accommodating. This is definitely a 5+ star place.

The location was ideal. So many restaurants, shopping, coffee houses, pharmacies were in walking distance. I loved the villa/condo units because they were quiet and easily accessible. The room was clean with a great layout. we loved most of all the largest jacuzzi tub we have ever seen and used it multiple times during our stay to relax and unwind! I will definitely stay here again and would recommend the hotel to family and friends!!!!

Not one thing!

This was a lovely hotel with a relaxed vibe. We had a short but happy family stay. My young grand girls and I loved the main pool area during a hot June visit. We also enjoyed the music of chirping birds in the evening outdoors.

We visited during the low peak summer time. We had a nice smaller pool by our unit, but there was no food or bar service. The main pool with food service was a bit of a walk (from our unit) with little kids in tow.

The kids "Loved" the pool, they were in it every day!!! The courtesy golf cart that would take us places was also GREAT.

The resort fees!!! Why are these charged on top of high room rates? If bottled water was part of these fees....There was no bottled water in our room, only the one we could buy for $9..00!! Also, there was no hand soap, which I had to call for, The coffee pot did not work, but housekeeping did bring us a newer model. The poolside bar closed at 6;;;why??? The pool was opened until 10 p,m. so why wouldn't the bar stay open later?? Then when we did get drinks, they were way over priced. My drink was watery and my daughter's had something floating in it and the glass was dirty.

The Scottsdale Plaza beyond exceeded our expectations! The pool was amazing, the staff were incredible, the bar tenders and drinks were the best we had in Arizona, and we thought it wasn't going to be as nice as it was. The location was perfect, the services are great, and you can tell the staff enjoy their job. What a nice place, favourite place to stay in Arizona!

cost of food at the Lounge and our waitress kept us waiting to take our order and to receive our food. 2nd waitress in room was helping her customers promptly. We watched 2 tables for the other waitress (arrived after us) get helped and served before us.
